Super Smash Bros Wii U and 3DS: Info Collection - Dojo, Mega Man and Trailer! 2014!

As someone who adores the WarioWare games and vastly prefers them to the Wario Land games... I still wish they had given Wario moves from Wario Land. I can see where they were coming from, trying to imitate the art style of WarioWare with Wario's animations, but it didn't really work all that well. And Project M demonstrates perfectly that a shoulder charge is a much more fun move than the bike.

And wow, the pictures of non-Brawl Wario really are a stark contrast. I forgot how buff that guy's arms are. Makes me wonder why Sakurai made them so stubby.

I wish the XY starters are in the game

I will admit, they would have the coolest idle animations ever.

But they will be in as Pokeball guest at best.

Would it be too much to ask for the ability to choose the evolutions? (Probably) You have to choose one of each evolutionary stage. So you can pick Squirt/Ivy/Charizard again or go Charmander/Wartortle/Venasaur etc.

The purpose of evolutions is generally for weight and speed distribution.

They gave Charizard Seismic Toss in Project M.

From what I heard it's his Down B move... and it's essentially a ripoff of Bowser's move.

Wario felt lazily made in Brawl and the Project Melee version is much better. Also I like the Project Melee Lucas better than the Brawl version.

He is shorter than Mario.
You know the picture you are responding to is the official Nintendo size chart for their default library of Mario models that they give out to third party developers so they don't have to make their own models.

Another example to show their height difference:

Nope.

Hasn't been the 90's for over a decade, and we have pikachu and jiggs.

NEW GEN PLEASE.
Er... for most of the world Pokémon Red and Blue may as well be naughties games since they came out so late in the 90s. October 1999 for the UK.

That looked more like an Up B.

Also why do people hate the fart attack? It's awesome!

The waft is a really dumb move.

Not just conceptually, but competitively too (It's a strong kill move with a five frame start up that can be used in the ground or the air)

I despise this move.

I despise this move.

It has a "charge up" time though. And I thought it just needs balance but otherwise a good troll move.

Yet Red has been consistently in each Pokemon generation series. PT is not going anywhere.

As a guest though. You might as well say Lance is as good as Red :P

Playable Waluigi needs to happen. He could be the official representative of the Mario spinoffs, having moves based on Kart, Tennis, Golf, etc. Final Smash can be the BLUE SHELL.

Oh and a Waluigi Pinball stage too.

Blue Shell: Instant KO to whoever has more stocks/points/coins and everyone close to him.
I like that!

Nah its fine if he didn't have it he would kind of suck.

Wario is one of the best characters in this game, and he would absolutely dominate if his matchup vs wasn't so bad. (Keep in mind, he was considered the 3rd best character in the game at one point) The waft was just an unnecessarily good trump card given to a character who already had a ton of great tools.

The charge up time is completely irrelevant. You wait for 55 seconds a free kill move... how is that balanced?

Can't agree there, the original starters will always be more iconic and recognizable than new starters which will be put aside whenever a new gen starts.

Yea, the original three aren't my favourites by a long shot, but they're by far the most iconic. Nothing else would be appropriate for Smash Bros.

Which should've been gone hand to hand with his B move.

Which is sad really, because you already have Pikachu for the "iconic Pokemon".

But hey, Lucairo's a great start. And maybe Masuda can "wink" at Sakurai to add his favorite Pokemon (Victini).

Yay victini...except it'll be even more rare than manaphy lol.

I do hope sakurai won't make legendary Pokemon have a 1/649(or higher since x and y are coming) chance of appearing. 1/493 was bad enough in brawl.

Oh you mean like the already in the game fighter Princess Peach?

Haha, blue shell as his final smash is fitting, he always comes off as a troll.

Though they never really seem eager to use Waluigi in stuff. If he was in Smash that might change.

And that why you put them in the game.

You already have old icons.

Now make new ones.

The Marvel method, Introduce new dudes well you can make even more money.

I don't really want that, though. I think it was cool how Lucario was in Brawl, but if they started focusing more on using characters to increase their popularity, this would turn into PS All-Stars. SSB is first and foremost a tribute, not a promotional tool. One Pokémon from Gen V or VI would be fine for SSB4. But slapping more in just because they're new goes against the spirit of the series, in my opinion.

I wonder how much more awesome they can make MGaW

I think it's more on having a balanced set than anything else. At the very least Pokemon deserves to have more "slots" since it's one of the biggest franchises.

HD Mr. Game and Watch will be really cool to see. Nintendo finally has a good enough system to properly render all of his intricate details.

I'm really curious how many spots will go to Pokemon. Let's say Mewtwo gets added back into the roster, do you all then expect Lucario to come back as well (or vice versa)? How many new Pokemon will be added on top of that, with Pikachu and assuming Jiggles and Trainer comes back? And what new Pokemon would really define the 5th/6th generations? How many spots should Pokemon get?

I think Mewtwo with its new form would do a good job of both representing the new generation and bringing an old favorite back. Two birds with one stone.

No it wouldnt.
PS All-stars used a bunch of 3rd party characters to do that.

smash bros is introducing new pokemon to the public.
And still has The OG's Pikachu and Jiggs on the roster.

They are enough, tradition for traditions sake is a shitty reason for anything. Put some new guys out there its good for everyone.

And please get rid of the fart. I know here a few years ago Wario somehow gained this "toilet humor" personality but him farting is almost an insult to me personally...he's a money grubbing brute! Not some gross, creepy little man...(well he's creepy regardless, but still lol)

Wario likes garlic, garlic gives you gas.

It's not that big a stretch, he was already a creepy, unfriendly guy. That he likes foods that give you poor social presence is in character, even outside Warioware.

New things for the sake of new things is also a terrible reasoning.

Smash Bros. should absolutely not be primarily seen as a platform for promotion. That's Marvel and PSASBR nonsense. A couple characters here and there is fine, but promotion should not define the roster.
