It's a ridiculous weave, and I'm disappointed that 99.5% of all black females in media have weaves. Obviously people are free to dress and prep however they want, but it sends a negative message to young black girls when their hair is seen as ugly or not worth taking care of. No wonder so many are losing their hair once they reach their early 40s: years of unhealthy chemicals and weaves that strain at the roots.

And with Beyonce she's been lightening her image for years...
