It's okay so far, but I find myself screaming internally "WHY WON'T YOU EXPLORE THE HELICOPTER AREA MORE" or "WHY WON'T YOU LOOT THAT GUY" quite a bit, but mostly because I know there are more stuff there. It's an open world game Patrick, explore more.

I was looking for info on the Deadpool game yesterday and I ended up watching the quick look for it. It was the first time I heard Ryan's voice since he died and it just felt so weird. I still can't believe he's gone.

Actually, I really don't have an opinion either way on Kessler. He was on that one Quick Look for that crappy alien/ant game, right? And, the FarmVille thing that died out (though not was fast as the Wednesday show, amirite?).

This is a ridiculous conversation because of course they're not going to hire an early twentysomething with absolutely no credentials but Patrick pre-GB worked for MTV and at G4 broke the Call of Duty leads firing story. Frankly, I'm embarrassed for you for making the comparison.

Well, he has credentials with actually working with them before, and also being part of brad's dota team in daily dota, so I wouldn't really say "Of course they're not going to hire that guy!".

I think they definitely should hire someone younger, it's the perspective they have been lacking for a long time, I also think it would be good for the site to have someone young and enthusiastic about the industry around (if for nothing else than to laugh at him).
Kessler fits the bill perfectly imo.

I don't think I've ever agreed with that dude on anything.
For a lot of people he simply isn't likable and I think that's a valid reason to not want a person on a personality driven website.
I liked him in the horror show he did on youtube for GB.
Did he do something not likable or was he just not that great on camera/mic?
Because none of these guys were good on camera at the beginning. Personally I think the way GB does content would make watching someone green learn really interesting/fun.
So nobody will ever enter the industry?
He has a college degree and did alot of stuff with games, like a podcast and streaming. I doubt they will ever hire him, though.

Best case scenario would be that they hire Rich Gallup but he's do far out of the game both in terms of location and what he's up to right now.

Yeah, I agree. Also, after listening to the old Ryan and Dave Elder Scrolls stream semi-recently, I gained a new appreciation for the guy. If they did decide to bring him on, I'd be cool with it.

That's what happens when you based nearly all of your artstyle on it.
Dota1 did originally come from a War3 mod. They basically used the same art style.
