What secrets would you be able to reveal to your S/O?

Say you used to strangle chickens when you were little. Just one or two at time; you managed to make it look like a fox killed them after the fact and successfully kept it a secret from everyone. Would you tell your S/O? Stuff like that.

It seems pretty crazy, but I told my s/o about a realistic nightmare I had years prior where my dad died. I haven't even mentioned it to my dad since :S

Nope. There are things I've done that no one will know about except for me and those involved.

When I was about 5 I asphyxiated a hamster to see what would happen - some serious "he's going to be a serial killer someday" shit. I was young and didn't really appreciate that what I was doing was cruel. When I stopped and saw the hamster struggling for breath I screamed and started bawling my eyes out when I realized I had hurt it. Thankfully he was okay afterwards and went on to live a full hamster-length life. I absolutely love animals and feel great pain when I see them suffer, so I think I'd probably classify that as my darkest secret. I try not to hold it against myself, being really young and all, but it's one secret I'd prefer to keep from my family and friends if at all possible.

He doesn't know the PINs for my bank cards, but that's it, and I'd happily tell him if we needed to for some reason. If you're keeping secrets from your spouse, you're doing it wrong. Or you're a psycho chicken killer.

I duct taped a toad to the train tracks :(
I put a snail in a circle of salt :(

Only two things in life that I regret doing

The NSA just solved the mystery of the chicken murders way back then in your home town. I hope you like prison food.

If I had one, I don't think I would tell her much. Never a good idea to tell your SO that you did it with escorts.

When I was about 6 years old I broke a mans femur with a bat. Not really sure it's a secret, I didn't even realize I did it until a couple of years ago.

I once told an ex I killed my old grandma, cause she was insane and my family asked me to

she bought it, and I told her I was joking like a week later

I dunno, we were 17 or something

but if I told her a lie that fucked up I really dont have issue telling anyone close anything

Also: there's a pretty cool sense of relief when you dont have to hide anything from someone else. I wouldnt call it crucial to be in a succesful relationship, since it's certainly nice to have your own privacy and secrets and whatnot, but the alternative feels pretty liberating.

Stealth confession thread... I'll bite.

In 2nd grade me and my friend would sometimes make a girl in the neighborhood(also in 2nd grade) show us her vagina before allowing her to play with us. Always felt a little guilty about this.

There are two things I will take with me into my grave. Someone told me 1 secret in absolute confidence, and the other secret stays with me because I am just not willing to share that experience.

Most of them. Not all of them. I'd probably tell her about the time my friend and I accidentally killed his guinea pigs and the time I blew up a grasshopper with an M-80.

Would you tell her about your voyeuristic tendencies?

Now that we are talking about dreams/nightmares : My brothers friend once started talking about a dream he had, where it was about him living home and his mom had to go to work, but as she said goodbye he asked her if she could leave her pussy home... and she did... and he fucked it in the garage while she was at work. I would have liked to hear more about this, but I was still trying to even understand what he had just told us and everyone were either laughing their ass off or completely weirded out.

Actually met him last year with his mom at the supermarket and all I could think of was him dreaming about fucking her pussy... and if she really had a detachable vagina.

I laughed too hard at that.

That's fucked up though.

There is really only one or two secrets that I have trouble telling anyone. Only one I can think of at the moment, but I'm sure there are others. Takin em to the grave, I suppose

To be completely honest with you OP I forget most of the things I wouldn't mention to anyone. Then I wake up one day with all of them at the full front of my brain, the guilt doesn't wash away until a week from remembering them. Then repeat.

I would share most of it though, there's only one or two things I wouldn't.

If I think it's something she ought to know or something I want her to know I'll bring it up. If something else comes up i'll tell her the truth, otherwise I've done lots of things I'm not particularly fond of sharing, embarrassing shit really, a lot of stuff I did when I was a kid that doesn't really matter now, and I don't need to share it with her. But like I said if it came up I'd tell her about it.

I permanently banned my 6 year old daughter from using the PS4 for mistakenly sending grief reports as it's too hard to watch or talk to her
There's no secrets between us after 18 years together.

I honestly cannot think of anything that she doesn't know about me, including a few indiscretions with other women that happened whilst we were together.

It's part of the reason we're still together after all this time, and will probably still be together in another 18 years. (Assuming either of us live that long).

If it only involves me? Sure, I could share most things.

But if it could potentially impact the lives of others... those aren't my secrets to share.
