@TO: The only real advice a can give you is to talk about this with gf. Honest and open. But be warned the outcome can be anything from breakup to best sex ever. But you must resolve it otherwise it will resurface in one way or the other.
 
Why am I not surprised this thread has 800+ replies? Haha. Bottom line, some women prefer long ones, some short, some fat, some thin, and any combination of those things. The overwhelming majority will be happy with whatever size you have if they like you and you have passion.

It's hard to get enough blood into the penis I presume, or to make the blood stay there.
Presumably, a smaller penis would remain harder for a longer period of time.

I think what we can take away from the thread is the following:

Small penor might have disadvantages, but so does big penor.
Average penis is smaller than people think.
Girth matters more than length, unless you're having sex with someone who enjoys being hit in the cervix.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO ENLARGE YOUR PENIS.
And penis alone won't bring sexual fulfillment to a lady, you need to use tongue and fingers as well.

Some of those guys have the surgery and/ or pumping problems. Remember, it's their gimmick to look massive at whatever the cost; in this case it's functionality.

It seems like having a large penis is entirely advantageous, unless you're some sort of extreme outlier. As mentioned above, there's even an erogenous area near the cervix.

I used to think I had a small dong, probably due to watching too much porn with dudes who had giant schlongs nailing tiny asian women. Then I actually started having sex and realized I was just fine. My now fiance actually wishes I was smaller sometimes.

Your size isn't an issue. Also, if it hit you that hard... Maybe invest in losing some of the weight. If you want to "feel" bigger, that's one of the best solutions.

From what I've seen and experienced, confidence in yourself is the most important thing with sex, performance and size. I've seen guys with small ones get laid just as much as guys with large ones. The difference was both conveyed confidence about themselves sexually.

Coming from a guy who sleeps with guys, I've met so many men who feel weak in that part of their life due to size. (I feel like an ad for enhancemnt pills). If you make it an issue with yourself, it will spread to your partner and it will be a problem. It effects how you perform and how your sexual partner reacts to you.

I can't tell you how many women I know who have the same complaint. Best advice truly is to rock what you have and focus on having a good time. Don't let someone throw you off and make you feel inscure over a part of you that comes with... The complete package x)

Also; I agree with the posters saying to go the jerk route. Should have hit back with a personal quip about her psysical being so she understood it wasn't cool or "just" a joke to you. It dosent feel good to have someone you care about make a low blow. You saying something about her size, breasts, etc would be unnaccable, the same rule should be in place for her. If it happens again you need to let it be known that if she wants a healthy relationship with you, it isn't cool. Period.

There's nothing here to feel shame about, you have a dick. If she has an issue with it, that's something she needs to address with herself. Not you. And in the case of the penis, she will not know about how big or little it is before you two are in bed and about to have sex anyway. Boobs, on the other hand, are apparent before you even say "hello."

And hitting the cervix kinda sucks. It's more an ego thing than it is a performance thing to have a big penis.

The only researcher seems to be Dr. Chua Chee Ann, I'm not sure there's much evidence supporting an A-zone, or to what extent it even matter in sexual stimulation.

Anyway, even if it does exist, it seems to only be relevant to women who have trouble getting their innards lubricated.
