FEZ was half-baked at best, imo. He's just looking for attention, though. He wants people to tell him "ohhhh no phil baby we still love you" so he'll make some big deal about it.

Screw that, games journalism is mostly crap but numerous outlets went out and praised his game. Plenty of great indie games go without the support Fez had. He should count his blessings.

I'm not defending his comments at all, as I said in the other thread, they were inexcusable. But I also think Marcus Beer played a role in this, and I said before Phil was very hurt by the comments made about his work, he's very passionate about it.
Shame to see that the game has really been cancelled, gonna say this again, hopefully he doesn't do anything that puts himself in danger.
Maybe he should cool off then and not attract attention. I don't see other Indie devs (even Blow) acting like a fucking 5 year old.

I wouldn't say that at ALL. Beer's comments may have been bad, but history proves that Fish has had more jabs at others (via Twitter) than anyone involved in this whole shitfest.

Their inflated self-importance stems from the hyperbolic praise they usually receive with their games. While you call their games "decent" other media and fans will call them "AMAZING, FLAWLESS, PERFECT"
