Ya

Modern Gamers would not put up with this.

Difficulty? Requiring rational thought? Nope, back to Skyrim.

My son thought it was stupid and thought I was stupid for liking it when I was his age. Oh well.

I'm actually looking forward to playing this - but I know it'll be cringe-worthy especially knowing they'll probably have a lot of in-game tutorials on how to do things.

Well, we live in an age where Dark Souls is considered a very difficult game.

I mean, Dark Souls is challenging if you don't know what a certain boss will do or what will happen in the next room, but it's actually quite easy compared to older games. Hell, Dark Souls in specific is very easy if you know what to do imho.

I mean

looks-wise, you either get this WayForward:

Ducktales got the latter. And it's sad.

Yeah I hate when that happens. Usually the full patch notes of games in general are in the official forums though (not the Steam forum, but sometimes there as well).

hmm Majesty 2 and Majesty 2 Collection are two separate games?
I have Majesty 2 Collection.. but Steam says I don't own Majesty 2 and its DLCs @_@

Got it all nice and downloaded, will fire it up tomorrow :)

Here's one piece of advice: the shield is useless, even when maxed out. Focus your upgrades elsewhere. Assuming you're one for exploring, you'll be able to max out your health and salts while still having a few upgrades left over to add a few notches to your shield.

Tinypic is banned here. But that's okay, you're a junior and you didn't know!

How do I get there from the Detailed view inside Steam?

Community Hub/Announcements?

It should be under News.

Yeah, that's mostly it. I'm sure there's a changelog somewhere. It should be more prominent on the game area of Steam. you know, maybe in the News section, that's always linking to useless Kotaku stories or whatever...

It's on the store page. In order for them to get it on the news feed they'd have to send it into Valve. I do think it should get filtered there automatically, but eh.

You may be able to join the group to get the updates in your activity feed, but I haven't been able to get it to work with Skullgirls. http://steamcommunity.com/app/218820/announcements

By the way for those of you that didn't get it yet, dunder just restocked his Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - UE for 14$. Amazing price, go get it!

I already preordered REvelations and COD Gunslinger and still didn't touch any of them, why the hell do I keep buying things at launch?

Oh, yeah, I also bought Splinter Cell Blacklist.

SPLINTER CELL BLACKLIST.

Someone stop me.

Someone point me to the Dunder store.

Edit: Yeahhh someone should make a thread for Steam Shantae.

And I didn't know it was a thing either! Voted.

It manifested suddenly when I was channel surfing one afternoon a little over two years ago now and happened upon this interview. Having no idea who she was at the time, I looked her up afterwards and had my mind blown when I discovered that she was the girl from The Lovely Bones... and City of Ember... and Atonement.

Dammit, man. That interview led me to this one:

Nobody has any business being that cute.

I'm going to have to nod in agreement as my laptop's display driver crashed, which completely breaks video playback. The title is familiar though, so I've seen it before. ;)

Man, I totally forgot about this being a thing for Steam.

Ah well, getting a 3DSXL soon so I'll get it anyway.

It'll look kinda bad on the 3DS: IT's a DSi Game, so it's resolution is lower.

Good news is that a non-stretched DSi software on the 3DSXL is bigger than the regular DS or DSLite screen area.

I'm actually just thinking about buying the original GBC Shantae for my 3DS...

So, did anyone else not get their pre-order pack for Rise of the Triad?

Edit: Found it, didn't realize it listed every game included as part of the same thing. Weird.

Wait a minute.. South Park: The Stick of Truth is going to be published by ubisoft? Screw that, i hate having to deal with Uplay.

Ubi doesn't force Uplay upon its external development partners. Plus, it was in development under THQ for quite a while as a Steamworks game.

I have no more budget, stop doing this to me Jase :(

You can go without lunch for a couple of days. :p

I'm ok with Uplay actually, what kinda bothers me in Ubisoft games is their performance at launch, usually if you wait a few months and buy it on a sale it'll run a lot better, have more content for no additional cost and stuff like that.

I'm glad I didn't buy Far Cry 3 before I did, there were ton of cool aditions and performance improvements. I doubt South Park will suffer from performance issues though.

EDIT: Additional free content doesn't bother me, of course, it's mostly the performance.

Thank God.

Uhh hate to burst your bubble but the AC3 performance issues are still not fixed on most PCs; Ubisoft doesn't much care for it's customers after release. Theres like a hundred page thread on the official AC forums about it.

Really? Still random dips? Wow.

Then I guess Far Cry 3 is actually the good exception since at least they bothered to make it better.
