If Rayman Origins had come with Rayman Forever instead of bloody Rayman 2 I wouldn't care about the pre-purchase situation in regard to Legends as there'd be no gap to fill!

I would've figured the summer sale cards would've become a bit more expensive by now, but so far, so nothing.
Gonna have to wait a couple years before the stock of 40,000+ of each dwindles down.

I've learned that the steam community is only interested in selling their cards for 5 cents each. No one is buying them.

system shock 2 cards jumped to around 50 cents last week (they were about a quarter during the sale) but have settled to around 35-40

Rise of the Triad is rad, and the text to voice is hilarious but some guy spammed z for the entirety of a match so I might rethink that.

One of these days I'll be able to sell my 10 foils for a tidy profit... although it does hurt a little knowing that I could've paid ~50% less for the set had I waited a little while longer.

Just a heads up anything that seems like it will obviously shoot up in price will be worthless (or maintain the same value) for a long time if not forever. Anything that'll net you something worthwhile will be valuable before you can see it coming, in Steam community market equivalencies, the :weed: emoticon.
If JaseC was really Saoirse Ronan, I would be in this thread a lot more often.

Yeah, GIS was getting me nowhere and making it myself would take forever on my laptop, so I had to take the lazy route.
I'm still not entirely sold on the game. From the footage I've seen it looks almost insultingly easy, and I recall some GAFers familiar with the original mentioning that enemy placement/count has seemingly been modified with this in mind, so I think I'll wait for a sale.
Still a few hours to go, i think.
This. If at least the BTA games were seperate i would have went for the BTA bundle, but instead i opted for 1$ bundle because paying the extra just for SR3 dlc seems a bit ridiculous

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.
They're obviously selling the nostalgia ticket with this one. I'm not surprised to see the enemy count or difficulty level reduced, simply because that's been the trend for the last 15 years.
The original Duck Tales had some parts that were hard as crap and pretty unforgiving - they would have a hard time "selling it to the masses" in today's gaming culture.
I'm guessing you played it a lot when it was released, right? I did too, and it seems easy now (to me) because I know where everything is and how the enemies move and react. I sat my teenage son down with the original Duck Tales and it was exactly like I remembered it being when I was little - a lot of dying over and over and over again while learning all of the game's nuances.
Yeah, I can't stand the look. I'd rather just play the original if I got the urge.
I like it, but that may be because I have Konami's Rocket Knight remake in my head at the moment.

Difficulty? Requiring rational thought? Nope, back to Skyrim.
Also they are using the American voice actors instead of the Swedish voices which I grew up with. These voices make no sense, I haven't even heard them, they don't fit the ducks at all. Give me my ducks back!!!
