The morning show was pretty good; they even did realtime fact checking that improved the quality of the discussion. It could be a really good complement to the Bombcast, and should probably be a premium feature once they get the kinks ironed out.

E3 Awards or the lack thereof

Today we got two emails thanking us for nominating or awarding specific games for E3 awards and one request for our E3 awards logo and a list of games from the company in question that we gave awards to. As if it is a given that this company would have HAD to have won awards.

We didn’t do any awards presentation for E3 this year.

In fact, I’m not sure that we ever have. I’m not 100% opposed to the idea, but the way some publishers treat it makes me want to never ever do E3 awards on the site.

If you see any post-E3 ad campaigns that mention us as having given them an award, let me know. Because they’d be lying! All I’ve said about it is that Watch_Dogs was my game of the show. Hey, maybe I should dummy up a picture of my face with “E3 2013" written under it and see if I can get it on the box?

well, it crashes all the time, and seems to have trouble with building connecting walls.

Though the second part may be more due to Vinny's obsession with building as close as possible to natural formations (which may or may not even work) rather than trying to build a contiguous encircling wall, or motte and bailey setup with tiered walled areas.

No idea. I played Stronghold HD. I think by the hardcore fans Crusader is still considered the best.

I still have the Ryan tribute episode to listen to but I'm really not sure about listening to it yet as I've got some 'other stuff' going on in my life at the moment and I'm not sure if I'm in a place to check it out yet.

Is the Ryan episode particularly emotional (which would be entirely understandable) or is it an uplifting celebration of his life etc? I know might make me sound like a massive pussy but it is what it is.

It's mostly funny with them telling stories about Ryan. There are moments where it becomes overwhelmingly sad, you can hear them trying not to cry a few times. Especially the ending. The ending is brutal.
