3DS Streetpass Experiences

I'm making the most progress on Mii Force than the rest of the games. Though I no longer get StreetPasses everyday so that sucks.

I am currently at floor 9. I have got up to class B weapons and +2 medals so far. I know there are A and S weapons.

OK, thanks.

So essentially I'll save up redemption tickets :/

Does the redemption booth change regardless whether the hats are bought or not?

Yea, the booth will change regardless of whether hats or bought or not.

Got a StreetPass hit from a "DaBoss" in a Goomba hat. Is that the NeoGAF DaBoss?

My Mii's the weird one. Probably Oracle of Seasons as the last played game.

I went to a county fair today and to my surprised. Filled up my 10. It was a shock and a breath of fresh air. I finally got to play the mik games lol. I got about 17 total today.

I'm so glad I hoarded my plaza tickets.

In the last two days I have bought:

SNES
N64
GameCube
Game Boy
GBA
DS

Heh I have the console hats beginning tomorrow and have 27 spare tickets :lol

Doing pretty well on Squad, I have 21/22 tickets and the final one is just a matter of time. Probably my favourite of the bunch although I do have a soft spot for Garden.
Knowing there are over
250+
flowers reaaalllyyy motivates me!

Is there any way to eat more play coins than just getting the 10 from walking?

Change your date to the next day. Keep doing that until you get your desired coins. I had been doing this for a while. I can get at least 50 coins a day but that was a long time ago :lol

I believe that if you do this for coin abuse, the hats at the ticket booth will stop rotating for a while.

For some reason I've been sending out multiple copies of the same Mii when doing seperate StreetPasses. The only thing I can think of that would be doing that would be me formatting the 3DS over and over again and I haven't been doing that at all.

Any ideas?

Clock abuse is generally a bad idea but wouldn't it better to probe the past for play coins.

I understand some people like to go on a ~2500 steps route and set the clock such that it will roll onto the next day after you reach 1000 steps (so like ~23:53). It takes experimentation to work out your time...

I guess there was a Zelda Symphony nearby a few days ago and I just street passed with someone who went to it. Im assuming it was for the Philly one, which was on July 25th.
Change your greeting, Terros! The concert is over!

I love random street passes.

Figuring it might catch when people walked by I got 5 Streetpass hits when I left the XL in the car when seeing Pacific Rim. Three of them were apparently playing Animal Crossing. And surprisingly a couple of hits (and characters to recruit) while waiting for an oil change at the car dealer last month, only adults waiting around and both were playing Fire Emblem. As was I.

I have been playing SMTIV but not enthused about making that title known to the younger set. I guess I could just start up the on-card Mario Kart as my "currently playing". Still curious if I'll ever Streetpass another SMTIV player.

Imported my 3DS from America for the intention of playing stuff that doesn't get released here. Haven't bothered setting up the streetpass games as a result.

There are only 2 places I've got Street Passes , 1) at a University and 2) At PAX Australia. , admittedly most of the games I have still aren't out here so I should expect that but its still disappointing.

At least Pokemon X/Y should do reasonably well.

Oh wow! As a fully gown adult man I sometimes feel a shade ridiculous purposely walking down busier streets with a toy in my pocket hoping the green light on it will come on if I do but this level of planning and mania makes me realise I'm not that obsessed yet.

StreetPass is amazing though, what a wonderful idea. I was annoyed at first that I bought two games separately rather than the cheaper bundle of four but it might be good to save them for when the Nintendo Zone relay update comes into effect.

I wish you could hire previous people in Puzzle Swap. Occasionally you'll pass someone that has like every pink piece and then never see them again

Me and my brother streetpass every day so when the time comes that we both streetpass with the same pink piece hoarding dude, we actually coordinate which pieces we takes so that we dont choose the same one.

At NYCC last year, we sat there with our 3DSs out in the cafeteria and got every pink piece between the two of us. It was a glorious moment.

I do exactly the same thing, except it's just me using two 3DSes simultaneously.

So lonely.

You should see if you have a green-shirted "stc" in your list.

so, is there a way to not automatically don a hat when you buy it? I kinda would like to keep wearing the one I already had on. :|

Also it constantly amazes me how many people I StreetPass who have purchased one or more DLC games. Nintendo seems to have another success on its hands, even outside Japan.

Because I commute I regularly Streetpass the same people. I imported a 3DS because of Etrian, Soul Hackers and SMT IV, and I constantly get messages like "Welcome in Holland", lol

1) Get to 1000 steps.
2) Change date to tomorrow. Go back one level. Change date back to today.
3) Exit out of System Settings.
4) Get another 1000 steps. (You may have > 0 steps, when you exit out, but the 1000 step counter goes from whatever you start at. e.g. If you start at 504, go to 1504.)
5) Repeat.

As a way to get the 1000 steps with less effort ...

What do you mean go back one level?

Also, won't changing the dates mess with my Animal Crossing game, or will it be fine as long as I change it back before loading the game?

What do you mean go back one level?

In the System Settings, Other Settings -> Date & Time -> Today's Date (go forward a day) -> OK -> OK (which takes you back one level) -> Today's Date (go back one day to today) -> OK -> OK -> Back -> Back -> Close.

The counter may be > 0, but the 1000 steps still counts from that point.

Also, won't changing the dates mess with my Animal Crossing game, or will it be fine as long as I change it back before loading the game?

Doesn't affect Animal Crossing. Does seem to affect Denpa Men 2, I've heard, though. Animal Crossing only checks the date when you log in and it asks you to confirm the current time. It's nice that way. :)

Since I always do daily aerobics, I always "carry" my 3DS so I get the steps easily.

With that said, date changing may affect your animal crossing save if you have it

I was thinking about taking my 3ds to the vans warped tour, but I am terrified if I get in a mosh pit it will break in my backpack. Plus I don't think I will honestly have the time to pull that out in the hot crowds.

BUT THINK OF THE STREETPASS POSSIBILITIES. Might just leave it in my car...

I got a team-up for the first time in Mansion.

It came just before I fought the floor 10 boss, so I appreciated it.

Went to the Statue of Liberty yesterday and picked up quite a few street passes from people around the world. It's neat getting new regions.

Not from my experience. So far I've only tagged one person who purchased any of the extra games. Most people in my area don't have them.

I grew my 20th new flower in Flower Town and received the new Flower Notebook. Seems like there's a lot of flowers you can't grow until after you become a flower master. I saw the silhouettes when trying to get my 20 flowers, such as the butterfly-looking flower, and couldn't never get them to grow. Now it makes more sense as to why they'd never grow.

just moved to melbourne , took my xl for a walk through town and came home with 10 spotpasses , compared to zero i ever got in my hometown of christchurch, nz
