It was hard to tell from gameplay clips and stuff on Youtube. It looked pretty generic. :\

Downloading Dragon's Crown on the Vita as I type this! After spending this summer playing Steam games, it's going to be nice to go back to the Vita.

I've been playing Hotline Miami. What a fantastic game.
I'm not neutral because superfrog was my favorite amiga game, but nowadays i wouldn't call generic a platformer with huge and complex levels full ofbig secret passages and bonus to get, but yeah it doesn't have any gimmick, it's pure platforming.
If people here liked that shittiness of life of a pixel i don't see how could they not like a way superior game.

Same. I checked gameplay videos and honestly didn't like it. I haven't played the original so there is no nostalgic factor for me here.
I just picked it up and played two levels. It's fast like Sonic in places with tons of coins/fruit to collect kind of like New Super Mario Brothers 2 on the 3ds.
The platforming and collecting is fun. Easily worth $8.00.

I'm really enjoying Superfrog HD, and I have zero nostalgia for the original Amiga game (got it on GOG a while back, but never really bothered playing it). My only problem with the game is some of the enemies tend to blend in with the background. Oh, and the music seems to be getting worse with each new world introduced.
Aside from that, it's just so nice to be playing a newly made platformer which actually keeps things simple. No stupid gimmicks, just straight up runnin' and jumpin'.

Also, I recommend the Sony portable charger, especially if you take trips a lot. Got mine for $25 at Gamestop a while back. It is good for charging tablets and phones too.

I liked the visual gimmick of the levels in Life of Pixel but couldn't bring myself to play it because that's all I liked.
Superfrog looks better to me, but not good enough for me to want to drop $8 on it. Seems solid enough, though.

Superfrog HD is really fun!
Also, the Cross Controller functionality is flawless and feels like playing a Wii U.
I am going to go broke with all these Vita games :/

It's funny, for $35 with my friend bitching in my ear about me buying it now, I'd have done it... but seeing it full price? I just CAN'T.
And I grabbed Rayman 1 and Rayman 3... Rayman 1 is a side scroller platformer, which should have aged well, comparatively. Rayman 3 HD should be good to check out for $2.50, but I skipped Rayman 2 PSone cause it looked rather dated in YT vids... plus I'm not sure what the control scheme would end up like on Vita.

I think the Asia store has it for $5 bucks cheaper but they have to buy the DLC... so it works out about the same.
I wanna get Rayman 2 to play on my Vita too but... idk may end up getting both

One glorious day Sony will fix the PSN crash bug, but it's not this day ;-;
Edit: This time it crashed to black when I was about to power off and the screen is off but the blue PS symbol is still on :/ (edit 2: Had to hold it for a minute or so to get into safe mode, Sony please!)
