Vita PSN Game & Service Thread | August 2013 | Divekicks & Dragons

Wow, I actually signed up to Twitter for that contest (OH here). I can't stand twitter or most social media, though.

I'm also gonna say the Dragon's Crown is so so good. This is another one of those "If I could show my 12 year old self (playing Golden Axe) this game, he'd probably explode" game

If you don't wanna kill their webserver, I uploaded the gameplay one to youtube

thanks, saw it a bit too late but it should be okay, people default to youtube and gameplay videos, edited it in quite quick at the top

might be overestimating the interest as well :P

even with the marketing pic:

Dragon's Crown is the loot game that I was looking for on the Vita. This and Soul Sacrifice are easily my favorite Vita games released so far this year.

Am I the only one having problems with the Youtube app? There are always some framedrops inbetween while watching since weeks. I tried to reinstall it and it is still laggy.

It used to run very smoothly, did the patch fuck it up? Using the app a lot for Vita gameplay videos and football recaps and the framedrops are really annoying.

I also just watched the IGN Dragons Crown videos and am super hyped right now. Sucks to be European :(

what's the remaining filespace like on your vita?

Right now 1131 MB are free. My card is always pretty packed and the app even once told me to delete stuff to be able to watch in HD quality.
Would be pretty bad if thats the problem, I mean it is still over a gigabyte.

But thanks for the suggestion, the thought didn't cross my mind.

Hmm it is weird, I don't usually get stutters but I only use it quite briefly, a few times a week. You're not watching 1080p videos or anything? Some sort of bug with people who've set their youtube preferences to max quality in other apps or something? :S Otherwise, you didn't just delete a lot recently - if so, might be okay now?

If you use other apps that have a lot of memory leaks, sometimes you may need to restart the vita to get it running fast again.

Just mustered the courage to start assassin's creed: liberation. Took a break from the Killzone demo and NFS: MW. I'm trying to like the game but it plays like slow motion cut scene.

I watch Vita directfeed gameplay most of the time so it shouldn't be 1080p stuff. Just watched KZ: M beta gameplay and I had the stutters, didn't delete anything afterwards so there ahould have been 1 GB free space available.
My YT preferences are also not on the highest option because it used to kill my old Macbook.

Never seen anybody else complaining about the stutters though.

Perhaps the region setting for the youtube video server - if there is even a thing...? Or maybe just your network signal? I know buffering and all...maybe it's on the fringe - there's an option in powersaving settings app that will boost it a little... sorry :(

Skyzard on tech support today. :P

Here is an EU PJM voucher. Because I like you guys

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I just woke up by coincidence. It's nice to get this free after buying both the PS3 and PSP versions day 1. I love me PixelJunk, but I wasn't willing to triple dip.

Thanks for making my day kassatsu.

You guys, Dragon's Crown is great.

Ugh, keep rubbing it in. The game does look fantastic. I'd have gotten it and enjoyed its co-op if didn't have that female artwork in it.

I somewhat regret Superfrog, not really feeling it. Not completely bad though, way better than some other crap I've bought.

Yeah, this came out of nowhere. I'm interested in it. What are you not feeling though?

Guys: remember how last year we got Need for Speed, AC and Call of Duty? Well all of those series are launching on two brand new, heavily focused platforms this year, with most of the support teams that would be doing portable ports and versions piling in to get those additional versions done. Why is everyone so surprised by this every time it gets brought up?

Next year maybe, or the year after, our third-party franchises will return, but they're busy for now, and Vita is nothing compared to next-gen in publisher priorities (quite rightly).

Once you lose support it's very hard to get it back. As it stands now I can't see Vita getting another Need for Speed or even Madden.

I watch YT on my PSVITA everyday and it runs great all the time. I get some errors here and there (and then need to restart app) but videos never slow down.

I usually have little space on my memory card since mine is only 4GB by the way so it probably has nothing to do with memory.
