Yeah, that's what I was thinking of. Regulus Tera is probably partially correct though since they seem to be adjusting that one taunt (with hilarious results).

But this makes me wonder if we may get secret characters revealed. Maybe it only aplies to returning characters & third party?
I want to feel the mistery about the secret characters I felt when I was playing the original Smash. I may go on complete info blackout on the game... but that would be painful...

I think this just means Luigi isn't an unlockable anymore, and is part of the default roster, which isn't that weird. He was unlockable in all Smash games before, but some unlockable characters in the original weren't unlockable characters in Melee.
It was only Brawl that followed the dumb idea that "If you've ever been a secret character before, you'll be a secret character again", and I hope this is a sign they won't do that once again.

So we got more in that direct than I thought we would. Luigi is awesome, everything is awesome. Now hopefully the next bit of Smash news will come with a gameplay video.

I remember a week or so ago they talked about the W101 direct and said something like "almost all of it wil be covering W101" and we took note of that, it could be anything really, from a bayonetta 2 demo if you buy W101, to a wonderful red smash reveal, to a bayonetta smash reveal, all I know is theres probably gonna be some kind of new thing in the last 5 mins
They fixed Link's clothes, apparently. They don't clip though his pants anymore.

That's great if really true. It was bothering me so much in his other screens. His tunic just looked odd at times.

Luigi's screenshots weren't anything out of the ordinary, but they captured his personality perfectly. The tweaks to his taunts are nice, and he has what looks like a normal idle animation (the one where he pulled his nose in Brawl was way too weird and didn't even fit Lugii that well, IMO).
I wonder if his moveset has changed at all from his Brawl incarnation. The Green Missile always felt a bit out of place to me, so I wouldn't be too sad if it got replaced by some other special (something from Luigi's Mansion would be good).
