The other day I was with some friends and one of them said to me, "You know, you're pretty funny when you're not quiet all the time," and it made me realize that all my attempts at humor are basically just imitations of how I think Ryan or Jeff would react to something. It's weird that these dudes I've followed for like 8 years ended up cultivating what's more-or-less my one defense against crippling shyness, and now one of them is gone. So thanks Ryan. Still miss ya.
 
Brad should do a Daily Dota where his crew spectates and comments on one of the TI3 matches. While there's already commentary on these matches, they're nothing that would help anyone learn how to play the game.

I have not played a single game be either Muir or Lang and those two TNTs were easily among my favorites. Definitely want to see more of that.

I loved Professional Wednesdays but most of the fun came from Chris Waters making Ryan's blood boil with his lame ass jokes.

They should really just combine TNT and the concept of playing the new releases of that week in one show. It would work pretty easily.

Well they already took away the Wednesday show. Taking away the Thursday show as well would be a bit of a dick move.

Free people should have some kind of weekly live studio thing. Hopefully once games start coming out again they will give that "games that release this week" thing another go and they come up with a new idea for Thursdays.

Attracting more people to the site instead of relying on the existing userbase would be a pretty good reason to provide more free content.

Especially seeing that they actually use advertising now.

If free content dwindles their userbase will dwindle.
 
They should do something similar to the WM Happy Hour and have one UPF a month open to all.

It's by far their best regular content and people should be made aware.

eeehhhhhh. not sure I would call that specific comment "entitlement". A single free live show a week seems about right, considering the focus GB has on live video.

Don't know if the GB guys are still thinking about how to retool the live shows after Ryan's passing, but I think there should be something for free users each week.

Why would it be a dick move? They're in it for money and the Friday show is loads better than Thursday's.

Maybe it has something to do with the email a bunch of people apparently received from GB. There was a post about it here.

I'm sure that's referring to the PseG blog update notification lots of people received randomly last night. Doesn't seem like a security thing -- just a glitch in their email notification system for the blogs/wiki.

Probably something he meant to be a DM. Don't read too much into it, likely just something in response to a complaint from a site user.
 
I just got a yearly subscription again! I'll immediatrely start looking down at free members as entitled freeloaders who can't even afford less than the cost of a Snickers bar a month. I just didn't eat 12 Snickers bars and it was that easy.
