I don't know the order or by who, but I can't wait to see Lydia and that whinny little bitch Walt Jr. killed. I know some people hate Skyler, but those two are far more annoying.

I'm a believer that at the end of it all only Mr. Pink, err Pinkman will survive. At the very least cancer will get Walt.

Vince Gilligan seems to be indicating the season is going to be a mess (not structurally, but body-count wise). I doubt there will be few deaths, just a hunch <:)

Judging from the reactions of people who were able to watch the episode early, I'm guessing there will be a fair few deaths in the first episode alone...

only the stuff featuring old footage with new narration, like Walt doing the Oxymandias poem

I think there is a 90 second clip from the first episode somewhere though. I think. May be wrong, that might be for the last season

I compiled them here under "Trailers". There isn't much new footage - mostly recycled stuff from previous seasons.

ugh, lame.

I hope they don't go too over the top. Part of the appeal of the early seasons was there is a plausibility to the rules the universe of Breaking Bad plays by, even when they're breaking science like in season 1 with the explosion thing. But lately I feel they've been going so over the top it's starting to break my suspension of belief. The train heist was seriously too much for me, as was Gus' 'tie straightening Two-Face' thing after the explosion.

So I hope they take into consideration who Walt actually is, not a superhero, and tone down the craziness of the action.

To me the most action-packed scene in the whole show was the one where Walt towers terrifyingly over Skyler, daring her to find some scenario where she can escape from this situation she is in with Walt. That whole scene was probably the best in the show, I think.

hey I want to see walt grab that m60 and start shooting wildly. I will accept over the top for that :P

I mean, to me after a man has lost everything, it might be plausible he'd go out in a blaze of fire. It'd all depend on how it plays out... like if Walt tries to walk into some drug kingpin lobby all bobby badass and takes out guy after guy while bullets miss him, that'd be too much for me.

I can see Todd randomly murdering a major character. He's gotta do something insane in these last 8 episodes.

Not randomly, not his MO. He may be totally sociopathic when it comes to dealing with problems, but killing without reason is not what he does.

More or less, at least where I live (west coast).

Hours til Skylame's death: unknown, but hopefully soon-ish

Walt's family will not die. Hank, Jesse and Walt will die.

To me, I definitely think there's no way some of Walt's family doesn't take severe damage in these final eight episodes. It is the final collapse of everything that made him get into this world in the first place, the last fallen peg in his false justification for wanting to make himself feel like the big man.

As in keeping with the theme of fallen empires, a pivotal piece of this equation is always the King losing what money cannot buy and what he would actually consider the most important thing. Walt is going to cross so many lines this season, it's going to be hilarious watching the last few Walt defenders try to justify it :D

I think the family will have their lives semi-ruined. As in they'll be forced to move away and Jr. will be crushed to find out what his dad is and have to live with all of it. But I don't think either will die. In fact I bet in the end after Walt is dead they are shown with tons of cash that walt left for them. Which would be like a very twisted "was it all worth it" moment. The answer would obviously be no :P

You know what, I retract my previous prediction as you're right. I wouldn't be surprised if his whole family dies and he remains alone with his cancer.

On the other hand, they don't deserve to die and Walt should get all the punishment.

I have a feeling Todd has a bigger role to play then just being needless cannon fodder. He's learnt Walt's process and he's smart, ambitious and ruthless. Hes also connected to that crazy gang of neo-nazis that did the jail hit. Anyone think Todd actually sent them dudes after Walt so he could be the new meth king? Walt needing the M60 to kill them makes more sense to me than him gunning at Hank or the DEA.

I still think the current theory of Jesse being kidnapped to cook and walt goes on a suicide mission to "save" him but it's really just because he has nothing left to live for after losing everything so it's a badass way for him to die.

I hope that happens!

I've had the same thoughts.

I'm betting Todd is Walt's cook now. Todd doesn't strike me as the scheming kind. He's loyal to Walt for sure.

I'd be surprised if Walt goes back to cooking. We've been told by just about everyone that his retirement was sincere. Not to say he couldn't get sucked back in somehow but I can't see how that would happen.

Bah! Can't wait till tomorrow.

Todd is smart, ambitious, and ruthless? He just seems to be Jesse without morals. After Jesse leaves, Walt turns to Todd because he will do what he's told and doesn't have qualms with Walt's immoral/questionable actions. He hardly strikes me as some kind of criminal mastermind.

They made a concerted effort to show Todd was more interested in perfecting the cook than pocketing any money off Walt or the deals. There would be a delicious irony to Walt thinking he's grooming Jesse 2 when in reality its Walter 2. Shooting the kid proved he was unpredictable and unstable.

todd's not these first two things. he's obedient and he works hard but he's not smart (not even in the same way jesse is). he's not looking to really work up, just even once he's walt's assistant.
as for ruthless: I think it's more that he's unthinking, but I guess the result's the same

You guys remember that Walt picks up the habits of everyone that dies around him. The flash forward in the beginning of season 5 shower Walt doing a habit that skyler does, I think he actually used her last name as an alias. I remember this being discussed here then. So.....maybe that's why Walt has brought the big guns.

I always assumed the m60 was for todd, Lydia and the neo nazis. In reality you don't just "quit" the drug business.

Well without it taking a part of you first.

Tomorrow guys! Like someone said earlier I thought this wait would last forever. I was wrong!

Walt absolutely kills Hank, Skyler or Jesse. I also like the odds of Jesse being the one to kill Walt. Theres a strange moment before "I am the danger" where Skyler asks Walt if the person who shot Gale would want to do the same to him, Walt chuckles as one would at an inside joke and says he finds that hard to believe. I don't know, but that stood out.

Only thing is that Jesse has already kicked Walt's ass twice, so Walt's due to get the best of him.

Todd will kill Lydia
Walt will kill Todd (or have him killed...)
Something truly awful will happen to Skyler, don't know if it will be death exactly
Walt is going to kill himself (not spoilers just speculation but I don't know how people feel about it)
