I actually traded it in..but had contemplating getting again...since it gets so much praise. But I think I'll just chalk it up to its not my type of game. I'm just missing why people like it so much.

It's not that 'primary' a red... If that makes sense... It's quite pearlescent. Looks great when you look at it but you don't notice it at all while you're playing.

They don't sell it where I am (Australia), I had to import it from Japan.
 
Hey vitabros! I've been out of town with no net access for the last two weeks. So what have I missed?

Felt kinda disconnected, but on the plus side I was able to sink a ton of time into VLR which I'm really enjoying.

Last thing I got before I left was Stealth Inc. Any worthy releases or news I should know?

I felt like that when playing P3P but I think in P4 this is what I like so far;

-Splendid voice acting
-Music grew on me after a couple of hours
-after spending some time with the characters, I actually care about them a lot. Especially Rise, Yukiko, Nanako and Teddie.
-I am legitimately invested in knowing who the killer is now. I'm in the last fourth of the game and although I admit its not been until now that I cared, I am very excited to find out.


Things I don't like;

-Being a college student I'm no longer into stupid high school stuff.

Great list. Just bought Rayman Origins and I absolutely love it. Beautiful looking game on the Vita.

Still need to pick up Guacamele.
 
pretty good haul this week. I got PixelJunk and Guacamelee through twitter.

Just waiting on Sony to fix my Trial/Can't buy Rayman Origins. Wish the Digital was cross buy though.

is P4 still 19.99?

You're lucky you still don't know who the killer is. That part got spoiled for me, and I began to lose interest after I knew.

So am I the only one really excited for Divekick on Vita?

I actually read who it was last year but since I knew nothing about the game I forgot. :P
That sucks though I hate getting stuff spoiled. For the Last of Us I was on media black-out until I beat it.

You forgot to mention: SAVE for Luftrausers. But I don't imagine that game to be that expensive anyways.
 
Tomorrow instead of an Gamescom announcement? Doesn't make any sense as Gamescom is just two weeks away.


Just finished all 'normal' campaign and DLC levels of Stealth Bastard and I have to admit that the original name really suited the game. That little clone is a bastard!

I liked the game very much at first but in the end it was just ok. I don't have the patience for stealth games and with some shitty checkpoints as well as rage inducing platforming parts I got a little bit annoyed. The music also got very repetitive.
Liked the presentation and overall idea. The later stages should have mixed up all those gameplay mechanics more.

I think it just means that they are going to have a 'sale' price for 2 weeks, and in gamescom, they officially lower the price. This way, the price change is effectively permanent.
 
Greetings. Does anybody know if Pac-Man Championship Edition, the minis game, is transferrable to Vita from the PS3? I'm in NA, and the game isn't on the Vita PS Store. :/

Yup. I'm putting a bunch of time into the game on Steam after playing the ever-loving shit out of it on XBLA last year. I'll buy the Vita version as soon as I can too.

...Which will be this tuesday, Right guys? Right? ...Guys?

Yes, the frame rate for all of the 3D PSP GTAs are messed up on PSN.

Of course not. Gotta have Vita games! But now the amount of experiences you can have on Vita will be far larger. I'm just saying, I won't be like I am with some PS3 games where I'm ticked it isn't coming to Vita.

It's a very poor alternative to playing Vita games but it's something,I'll give some games a shot but keeping the PS4 powered on in front of the TV and not playing on the big screen is not something which I'd probably like to do.

Yeah it's definitely a niche convenience feature but I'm looking forward to it. Really need to see how the performance is though. The tech side of that stuff is a little over my head so I'm not sure what to expect.

Well GoW played decently with this and now it's a lot better from what we're hearing so it could be good,I hope they don't use the back touch in the God of War Vita collection though since that shit is a little obtrusive with the way I hold the Vita.

The idea that every Vita owner will own a PS4 is a gross one that supports Sony discontinuing native Vita software in favour of Remote Play. Vita is its own individual hardware platform, not an accessory like PlayStation Move or something. Linking up with PS4 should be a bonus for a Vita owner, not the only thing to be hopeful for.

As someone who bought a Vita on day one I have pretty much no interest in buying a PS4 partially because of how they've treated this platform. I beleved that they'd actually support this platform but they haven't. They cut and ran to their home consoles at the first sign of trouble, which is what they did to PSP, but that platform at least had third party support.

most ridculous statement ever. they still support it...new games are released at a pretty good pace. still update the firmware.

I keep watching Twitch streams of Spelunky and I'm really really wanting the game. I hope Sony hurries up and puts it on the store.

They've been showing the Vita good support, at least wait until Gamescon is over (the rumored place that they will be showing the Vita stuff that was meant for E3) before having a total meltdown!

Vita might lack the big obvious titles from third parties, at the moment or forever, but it's not hurting for high quality software, especially with all the indies getting on board.

The Vita is an awesome system and Sony clearly doesn't have any plans of abandoning it, but look at how well their renewed PSP push worked (around when LPB/AC, etc were announced), I think it's an unavoidable reality that the amrket for their handheld is kind of slim, but the fact that they're continuously reiterating PS4 comparability is both a necessary evil to keep the platform going, and a sign that they aren't planning to just cut and run from it.

I'm still addicted to DOTA 2 - been watching The Internationals all week #teamnavi and now I'm dedicated to getting out of the trench I've been sat in.
