I watched some too. I still think Dota 2 is not that much fun to watch compared to something like EVO, The matches take too long and unless you already know Dota 2 pretty well you have no idea what's going on.

Dota just got officially released, and its biggest tournament is happening right now. League is just about to finish up its last split before worlds. I highly doubt you'll see this much hype around the LoL worlds, but that's definitely part of the reason.

What other odds and ends are there floating around just for premium subscribers? Any way to sort them out? Like a "show me just the premium stuff" option?
