Don't finance your PS4 over 10-15 years . . . (which is what you are doing by using student loan money to buy it).How will I pay off my preorder if my student loans haven't come in?
I'm terrible.

While a September or October release date would be pretty exciting, I think I might actually cancel my preorder if it's that soon. I really don't want a PS4 until at least November.

Sony's been trolling MS non-stop since january.

You should cancel your preorder now.
So other people who want it earlier can get your slot.

I'd say that pretty much spells out that PAL countries, at least, won't be getting the PS4 before November 1st. Indeed, I'd read into that as far as saying December, just because why would you go to the effort of buying BF4 on PS3 if you could wait a couple of weeks and get it on PS4?

I take this a way of being good to late adopters to next-gen consoles. Both Battlefield and Ghosts I mean are doing this. So if someone didn't pre-order their PS4's or XB1's they can get it later and keep their progress.
So we going to get a release date during Gamescon?

Is it Xbone rumored for the 5th of Nov?
If he's right, he needs a tag.

Everything about the info that's coming out would lead me to agree with you. I can imagine Steve Ballmer sweating up a storm right about now.I would shocked if Xbone makes it out 1st week of November.

Then a whole bunch of people will be SOL with lots of student loans and a sociology degree.

That's pretty hardcore breh. I only started saving at E3 when they dropped the $399 megaton. Even though I've been saving with November in mind, I should still have enough to go hard with an October release.
I was the second one in my city to preorder. I was beat by one who is more hardcore. Store opened at 9:30 and i got there at 8 thinking id be first, wrong. There was guy who was there since 7:30 and he was playing his vita. An epic brofist occurred.
That would be great. Wonder how many people will take advantage of the inevitable shortage for demand.
If the PS4 is confirmed to release in the United States in October (doesn't even have to be the 21st, could be the 31st) I will preorder it and NOT cancel it for ANY reason.
youre too late to the party fella...not sure there is anywhere still taking PS4 pre-orders with guaranteed launch day...
Gentlemen, is it possible the PS4 could be looking at a Wii type situation?
If by that you mean I comfortably and painlessly get one on launch day then I hope so.Gentlemen, is it possible the PS4 could be looking at a Wii type situation?
