Vita's releases this year have been pretty bleak. That's why the platform sold less than 17‚000 units in all of the US last month.
 
I would buy a Persona 3 Sapphire running in the P4G system/engine. Be it graphics, battle improvements, etc.

Finally got my Vita AC Adapter replaced. I did buy a new one but the new one was DoA... Just got it replaced 1-on-1 at Sony

The Walking Dead Vita port didn't establish any exclusive content or things of that nature. Pitchford only wanted Borderlands 2 on Vita so he could take a PS3 game with him everywhere. I'd expect cross save but I'm not sure the gimped Vita we currently have can do cross play with the PS3 build.

Speaking of The Walking Dead, the Vita port is supposed to launch this week, right? It must be shit because I don't recall every seeing any videos, or screenshots on Vita.

The prices are insane -- if you think you have any interest in either fighter, buy them now, even if you get 2 at once.

I still don't get Divekick. I never will. Besides, you could use the money from Tearaway for these great sale games! ;)

I don't know about SH being "action". When I think "action" I think Ninja Gaiden/DMC/Bayonetta/MGR:R/etc. SH is somewhat of a dungeon crawler. Try the demo. That's probably the best way to get a feel for it.

I got a huge line of scratch across the right side middle on mine. I was so stupid because I left it out of the case a lot of times and dropped it on the floor several times thinking it could handle it a lot of the times. At first it drove me crazy but then I tried not to think about it.
Luckily while playing in the dark it is not visible at all. So it does not bother me at all most of the time since I like to play when its dark inside. I think it helps that the colours pop out on the OLED screen making the scratches very little visible if there is no light coming from above.

I'm definitely not a fighter-game person. I'm horrible at them. But I know with UMvC, I at least have a chance of unlocking all characters. I'm more a Naruto Ninja Storm/Super Smash Brothers kind of guy. The only reason I'm keen on DoA5+ is the tremendous amount of praise GAF has for it... But indeed, the prices are insane for both. But looking at the PS+ IGC offerings, I wonder if either will become part of it soon enough.

Hmm I did watch a Divekick livestream. It's a two buttons fighter. I guess it'll be fun on-the-go. But hmm...

Is Tearaway bad? It looks pretty good! But I never got into LBP so... Haha

Ah I was about to ask if Silent Hill:BoM is something like a Dungeon Crawler! It looked very Diablo-ish to me (and that Zombie game that was very good and offered on the Welcome Back Program) I'm rather inclined to it now but how's the multiplayer?

Yeah, that was my favorite world. Very tight platforming that requires good timing and fun once you get the hang of it.

Not that I know of. I wanna see Sophitia in her..umm..full glory in WO3 Ultimate. Hope she doesn't play like the lame ass Ares.

I sure hope the save file from my PS3 is transferable. I'd hate to go through the hundreds of hours I spent on my WO3. I've always felt that WO3 was excellently done. I'd recommend it to anyone...but since WO3 Ultimate is coming out, I'd say just wait.

I think some people think only in terms of art style and others think also in terms of demeanor. Don't know what way I think, although demeanor plays at least some part. OTOH merely the extent of realism is enough to make it hard for me to consider Arland stuff moe. Meanwhile, the art decisions for, say, Kyubey auto means moe to me regardless of demeanor. Find it hard to believe there are people thinking no Sugimori designs are moe. Did Kishida do any non-Atelier games?

Oh so it is infinite. I was worried it would randomly quit giving me free balls when I was in the negative values.

Anyway, I finished BreakQuest: Extra Evolution. I only lost 25 balls, so it's possible to finish it without buying anything. That was an easy 18 bronze and 1 silver. There is another bronze for playing for 24 hours but I don't want to do that.

Atelier series is the only thing he did the art for. He primary does light novel illustrations and character designs, on top of my head last few were Hanasuka Iroha and Red Data Girl.

I don't get it. I never talked about sales, or how Vita will be saved by this game. And yet somehow me thinking that Vita gets Borderland 2 port is a great news is attacked.

Yes of course it won't save Vita, but that's not my point anyways. The fact that Vita gets a game from a well-know IP is great news for many of us here, even if it is a port.

Your sarcasm isn't needed and, to tell you the truth, not really appreciated.

The Walking Dead port established that Vita will get Season 2. I say that's a good investment.

Also isn't Vita getting a bundle with the physical release of the game pretty soon? That's pretty nice, seeing that as demonstrated by the Activision game, people will buy a walking dead game when they see it in the shop. It is also the first bundle this year which is important going into the end of this year and trying to at least sell a bit more Vitas. I expect Killzone, Tearaway, Fifa, Batman and Invizimals bundles to be announced at Gamescon.

Joined the baroque brimstone horror that is the Soul Sacrifice party. Pretty keen, glad I gave the demo a good second shake, because I initially didn't like or *get* the game. A nice go-to bash.
 
My Dragons Crown order from VGP (Import) got shipped on August 1st and still no sight of it. :/ I'll get probably a letter from lazy-slow customs in the next few weeks to pick it up.

If I knew Amazon.com would ship it to my country, I would've bought it there - pre-ordered TWD at least from them though.

I didn't "get" SS either. I waited till Dragon's Crown came out...and I'm still enjoying DC! Love it!

My order shipped 30/7 but still nothing, the site says to wait 1-21 days, i'll send an e-mail the 20/8.

Maybe it's the august curse, i remember my fist online order(from the uk), i made it in around august, it took forever to arrive, i was so panicked... Now i'm desperate :(

I'm not sure how you feel about the "non" games and all that shit, but Gone Home is really excellent, maybe one or two themes that might resonate quite nicely with you as well.

Yeah, I dunno. I don't think I'd appreciate Gone Home as much as I'd want to.

Dragon Commander would be cool, but I'm swamped as is! Killzone is just around the corner, so that'll be the next pick-up. So keen.

I don't know how it happened, but about 1 day after I put the Hori screen protector on, I dropped a lighter, and in my haste to grab it, I hit it further into the air, spinning like wild. It landed on my Vita, putting a nice gouge in the protector. Thankfully, it was the protector and not the screen itself, AND it was just outside where the screen is. While I don't have to look at it while playing, it's in my peripheral vision if I let myself see it. I was like you for a while, I could not NOT see it, but it will fade in time.

So Killzone isn't really a solid 30fps. It hits ~26-28 frames pretty often and I accidentally paused the video at a point where it hits 18fps :/ Hopefully the final build will be a solid 30fps, but honestly, the frame drops aren't really noticeable when you're not watching the counter.

Good story, bad gameplay. walking dead is the most overrated game of this gen.

At this point, a price cut will not save the vita. Vita is the biggest failure in NA!
 
Just go
back to the elevator (evade the red sniper laser) and back out the exit as normal, you can only stun the police.

Sorry that you didn't win :( I'm happy that a bunch of people from gaf won though, this place has become a second home of sorts to me and it sucks that my site has been consuming like ALL of my free time lol. I haven't had any time to post on gaf ;( I should have all the posters and soundtracks shipped by Monday btw.

Those signed posters though... so jealous lolol. I'm just happy to give stuff out to the fans so :D

I am disappointed as well with the sales numbers but not surprised. Software sells systems and I know the software is coming this fall. I'm also interested in playing PS4 games via remote play and I'm sure others as well. Will it help sell systems? Probably not but with a PS4/Vita bundle, maybe. A price cut is also expected as I can't see the system going another fall/winter without it. There is still plenty of business to be had for the platform.

The framerate for U:GA is definitely what I suspected it was. :(
And I'm very impressed with that Killzone framerate; I don't expect a completely solid 30 from a game that looks so impressive.
