3DS Streetpass Experiences

This was sort of confirmed by a post in here last week, but I'd just like to be sure, if anyone knows definitively: you don't have to "use" all of your accumulated Miis in one shot after greeting them the gate anymore, right? Once I've checked them in, and they're represented as red exclamation points on the game icons, can I come and go from the plaza app as I please? So, if I just wanted to play Find Mii and Warrior's Way, I could exit, come back later, and the unused Miis would still be there for the other games?

Also, this is what I did tonight:

Will make it easy to layer in the app on my phone and see if there are any relay stations around areas I'm in. Unfortunately I don't carry my 3DS every day like I used to, but oh well. Maybe I should get a fanny pack.

This 10 coins per day must be balanced for non japanese countries =P

Wifi typically has to be turned off in-flight, so there wouldn't be a whole lot of street passes from people who are on arriving flghts.

Getting through Flower Town now that Mendel isn't blabbing on and on is nice. The flower game is still my favorite one of the four.
 
Just got to 5-3 (the last one) on
Arcade Mode
of Squad and died. :(

So close. :'(

I only had one power up left so didn't have much hope, lost too many on the boss before I hadn't versed him very often and couldn't remember his patterns. :(

It -should- allow this, but I try not to. It usually asks whether you want to continue playing with your current set or let in the next queue if it was closed before you're done.
 
Turns out that you lose all the Miis in your queue if you die in Mansion. That's irritating.

I shouldn't have experimented with a new weapon on a boss.

Yes, I've done this. When you greet miis at the gate (1-10), they persist in your plaza, until you play all the games OR visit the gate again (they warn us about that). You can use the Home button and exit the game, and when you come back, they are still waiting for you. I haven't tried powering off the system.

So you can now effectively gather 20 miis from streetpass/relay, as long as you go to the gate and greet the first ten, they will sit and wait in your plaza while another ten line up at the gate.

Love it.
 
Took my 3DS to the library and got my first streetpass today! Ann-Sophie from Belgium :-) Shame there is no map for my region.

Will walk around town this afternoon to see if i can get any more.

Arcade Mode
in Squad! :D Had 3 left at the final boss, lost one to the stupid hand part suffice to say my heart was pounding lolz, didn't want to choke.

Held my nerve and got some luck (he did the nose pink multispray bullet thing twice that I could block with one of my remaining powers (white) and finished him off! :D
 
Went to local comicbook/anime/cosplay convention a few weeks ago and got 10. might have gotten more had I known of the 10 streetpass limit.

Street Pass RGV will be hosting Disney Infinity demo this Sunday at nearby gamestop. Gonna see how many street passes I get there. They had Mario and Luigi demo a couple weeks ago, but I didn't go to that one. Last event I went to got 29, but that was the e3 demos at best buy.
 
they should really allow more than 10 in a queue
but only allow you to bring 10 to a game at any one time.

(you have to clear the first 10 before you bring the next 10)
 
I just got my first penalty in Warrior's Way. I closed the app before losing and when I opened it again, Wentworth took 10% of my army... oh well :P

How many times do you have to do that before he penalizes you?! I've done it three times already (because I accidentally went into the battle when I only meant to check the army size), and it hasn't happened to me yet.
 
Arcade Mode [normal] on Mii Force = done! Only 1 more ticket to get (the titles).

I can't recall, but at least 4 or 5.

Yeah, especially now that getting 10+ tags is so much easier all around the world.

Hopefully they focus on tweaks like that in future updates. It's not like they can add even more games without making it take an hour to use one group of Miis.
 
Real life let me down. 2 passes...looks like the spoof to the rescue again *sigh*

Enemy scales to your strength. Beating a monarch from affar gives you all their troops so your army size can snowball quite rapidally in the correct circumstances.

I think it's closer to 10% of their troops unless its a really small army. Play coin farming will pad your army much, much faster. I'm at about an 80 win streak and I only crossed the two million mark last night.
 
Gardening has now become my play coin drain. Its even worse when you end up inviting a flower buddy then go on a frenzy to take advantage of the rainbows...I got some definite rare plants, well opportunities at least one 6% flower chance, another 49% and others which I think are just diverged seeds.

Also I totally forgot I could buy seeds for (non-rare?) plants you've seen which helps when specifically growing a plant for the quests.

80, you have more experience than me. My win streak of 3 has had 2 at 100% and one at ~60%.
 
Popped to an anime convention earlier and nabbed about 150 tags. Was there long enough to get a few multiple times. Suffice to say, I am now so very close to completing every single puzzle. Jackpot!
 
So I'm a master gardener. I noticed in the credits "localisation" and "localization" for NOE and NOA, respectively...wait, NOA. So you mean the games were localised and ready?

Also I got hit by my first status effect in mansion.
 
I like me some streetpassing but I can't bring myself to go to a convention of any variety.

Maybe if there's a casual, accessible Pokemon event for me to lurk.
 
Of all things, the local Home Depot is apparently a relay.

On a separate note, I was surprised to find that fantasic ratings get sent even if the communication is one way (since I have two 3DSes one always gets relayed to the other).
 
I have bred 38 out of the 80 flowers. I need a new/bigger seed box (I'm selling so many good seeds because of that).
I am never getting some of those tickets. Unless there is some kind of trick, the odds for getting new breeds aren't in my favor :(. Outside of that, I like Flower Town a lot.
 
Easily getting 8 a day in Leeds now. Usually in the train station for breakfast and lunch that also has a Nintendo Zone in McDonalds that I walk past. I've passed one person 18 times now, pretty sure they must work in one of the station stores.
 
I've passed someone 14 times, but I haven't found the courage to ask which store they work in with a personal message.

The mystery is more fun.
 
Plus there are only so many characters so it's difficult to phrase it in a way you don't sound like a mentalist. "WHERE DO YOU WORK"

One thing I don't like about the relay business is that I might keep passing the same people but they're not necessarily passing me, so even if I do get them in StreetPass regularly we might not be crossing paths every day which is somehow saddening.
 
Been playing StreetPass battle and got my army back up over 3 million troops in the space of a few days, despite falling as low as 700,000. It's about 300,000 per battle at the moment for me, though I did lose my last one. Damn ninjas. I'll probably have to buy some troops with play coins. A lazy weekend meant I didn't even get the maximum 10 yesterday.

Quite saddened by how quickly I got 2mil more troops, as the 9,999,999 troop cap will likely come all too soon, and there's little else to see in the game. I'd say it's definitely the worst of the four. Pure Skinner box stuff with little depth or substance.

The seedbox "upgrade" was the worst thing about becoming a master
8 more slots, you kidding me?

As for growing plants, idling the preview shows you a growth animation. If the species are distinct (as in early on you can see if you'll get the new one) invite someone over and start growing it. You should be able to see what it'll grow into based on those early steps and if it is not going your way, just sell it (an unflowered plant gets the same cash as a seed)

I wonder if forcing colour (via guests) can also work (as in force it to someone the non-new plants can not become), assuming it does force colour rather than give priority to that colour (where possible) for whatever was destined to grow.

Your army gains troops quickly just running through the second tour but it all comes to a screeching halt once you get to the Emperor again. I'm at 2.8m and basically stuck at a wall because I'm not going to fight the Emperor's 5.8m with that few troops, and because I'm not invading anything I'm gaining nothing each turn but the paltry 1500 from my other 3DS. It clearly intends me to make up the troop difference by fighting others, but I know no one with a large enough army size to be able to double up.
 
I am about to finish my second Warrior's Way playthrough. I thought the final emperor was supposed to have 8 times the size of your army [when you first encounter him].
Well, either my math is faulty or I'm missing something: I have a 555,004 army, I was expecting to fight a 4 millions army and all I got instead was a 1 million confrontation. Not that I'm complaining, cause now way in hell I would be able to beat what I was expecting.

Indeed. Stupid limitation >:( ... I AM A FREAKING MASTER GARDENER, WHY DO YOU LIMIT MY MASTERNESS, SEÑOR MENDEL?!
 
I have a question so you can only have 10 street passes per play session so do you lose the ability to get more street passes until you've played with those 10 street passes or are they waiting in queue?
