I hope we'll see new and exclusive games and some ports of big and popular titles more than HD remakes or indies (stuff like COD, AC and Borderland 2) Vita really need that to be a healthy system.
for on expectations, I'm expecting Shahid super duper secret game to be something new but really awful and disappoint us all (especially ionca).

Yup. I'm actually kind of hyped for the show, more for the Vita than I am next gen. I just hope we get blown away for once and not blown over. @ Toto correct, I would love for Vita to get those games, I would actually buy CoD, AC etc on Vita first before I purchase the other versions. Come on Sony wow me.
Yeah, literally the last boss. Tbh I wasn't enjoying it that much up till that point but since it was so short I was ok with it. As the combat got more infuriating along the way I was ready to call it quits way before the final boss though.
I admit I sucked at it, but Im at a stage of gaming where if im not enjoying it, I step back and move on.

Did you complete the combos at the chicken in town on the big skeleton?
I was actually a little upset that once you completed the combos you couldn't continue to practice them.
Perhaps it's because i love learning combos in fighting games that I really enjoyed that aspect of it.

Yeah, I'm not into that. Guess it wasnt for me. A shame because I bought it day one and I was very excited about it.
It's all the mindgames of fighters (footsies, meter management, proper move usage, manipulating an opponent into an unsafe position with bluffs, understanding one's character, matchup data, etc) distilled into a simple-to-play system.
While the injokes are a BIG deal about it, I don't think you have to get any of them, to be able to enjoy the game. I didn't know there was a guy like Dhalsim in "Flying Guillotine", That Bison shared a lot of look inspiration from Doomed Megalopolis, or that Guile was a hairstyle throwback to Polnareff in JoJo's... but that didn't keep me from liking SFII, y'know?
when a company hide a game/port and don't release any media of if, then there is something wrong with it, GOW1/2 Vita most likely be unstable 30fps, AA-less ugly as sin non native res ports.
I'm hoping for a Cory Barlog GOW reboot/GOW in another universe on Vita, now that will be a megaton and a way to let us forget that garbage called GOW:A.

Silly question, but how do I "buy" a game I already downloaded for free on PS+? Basically, I'd like to buy a game at a current discount that I got for free on PS+ so that in 5 or 10 years or whenever that system doesn't connect to the internet anymore, I can still own the game?

You can't. It's a major flaw in their system.
i would agree with you if it weren't for gow1/2 being ported to ps3 using the bluepoint engine, which has worked great for vita titles.

You can't. To do it you'd have to wait for your PS+ to run out. It sucks and I hope they fix it on PS4 :/.
I want to actually own Virtue's Last Reward and Wipeout 2048 once they get cheap but I can't.

each world is 4 levels
you got the caves
jungle
ice cave
temple
city of gold
and hell
unfortunately you won't see most of these levels until you die a bunch of times. I died like 247 times already and only made it to the temple (4-1) 1 time.
I'm more consistently reaching the jungle (2-1 and on) now but due to certain circumstances, i may not make it out of there.
each level is around the 2:30 mark, as death shows up after that point. it's possible to run circles around death, but unless you are familiar with doing this, chances are you'll run right to the exit if possible
i watched probably the #1 dude beat the game last night on twitch and it was a little over an hour. that's basically a speed run and he's probably beaten the game at least 20 times already.
realistically, it would probably take you 20+ hours to beat the campaign

It's an hour or an hour and a half. The three hours is just how long GameTrailers are streaming, including pre and post-show stuff.
Sounds like a good value. Picked up 3 months of plus just for the jp dev game sale but it looks like it's already paying off. Going to grab mutant blobs as well I guess.

It depends how good you are. You won't be good enough to beat it for 10+ hours at least. More than that most likely.
The random level generator is fantastic and keeps it from getting repetitive even after dozens of hours though.
Don't worry about the length. It's worth it.

you also have to factor in score as the leaderboards are very active (especially on steam with the daily challenge)
i broke 6 figures and was pretty pleased.

Any good? Looks like you can get it bundled with mutant blobs for an additional 50 cents next week.

Yeah, it's good. I didn't like it as much as Mutant Blobs Attack, but I seem to recall it having local co-op which was pretty cool. I'd say its definitely worth it for that extra $.50. Now, I assume you already know, but it IS a PS3 only game. It came out well before the Vita came out.
