No new major game announcements (or localizations), but hey it could be worse.

ADDENDUM: Oh yeah and Minecraft was casually announced for all 3 PS platforms, despite Microsoft previously claiming it was exclusive to them. Much lols were had.

Looks like you've got the retail releases nailed down. As far as PSN stuff goes, Velocity Ultra, Super Stardust Delta and Guacamelee are all great titles.

I've only really played God of War: Ghost of Sparta from the PSP library, and I'd say it's definitely worth playing if you're into the God of War games.

If you like fighting games then there's plenty to choose from, and with the awesome Vita D-pad you're guaranteed a good time. They're all fairly solid ports.

With that said though, I really wish we had Persona 4 Arena...

Thank you for noticing. I feel much better. Gave up in Home after I got to the point where you had to tilt controller to unlock something. Apparently my controller doesn't have 6axis, or it's broken; never had to use that before. Did not attempt to do any kind of radical remote play thing for Home. Too frustrated already.

Muramasa is pretty, but it can get repetitive, since basically you do the same thing all the time in the game from start to finish, just slashing enemies around from screen to screen with little to no variation.

DOA5+ plays great and looks great, but obviously suffer a downgrade in visual when compared to the console version. Most noticeable on water-related graphics, including sweat and such.

Dynasty Warrior NEXT I haven't bought it so I don't know, however I heard that Ultimate Orochi is going to be released so you might want to hold on and buy that instead, even with the sales price.

No comment on your Soul Sacrifice comment, hahaha.

Muramasa is pretty great. It can be a little repetitive, but the core combat is fun and getting a new sword (which is often) is always cool to see what new ability it has. Plus it looks fantastic.

DOA5 is a very good port. Runs at 60 FPS and looks very good. Online is pretty dead though, even at launch it was dead. Maybe the sale will help with this though.

I never played Dynasty Warriors Next.

Oh, and how's Dragon's Crown? And does it have cross save with PS3? And PS3 ports are also welcome suggestions, I'm more of a portable gamer than console, and I'll more than happily double dip on games I own

I wasn't thrilled with the first-party content Sony showed today, but I'm glad that they acknowledged the Vita's existence and did some proactive things in an attempt to move more units. The fact is, developers aren't going to invest in the handheld until they feel there's a viable market for big budget games, and getting as many Vitas into consumer hands as quickly as possible is the best way to do it. Having said that, the Indie stuff is awesome and I am excited to see how Arkham Origins and Borderlands turn out. And there is still a lot of great stuff coming this year. I'm absolutely thrilled Ys is coming, and that will likely be enough to keep me occupied through the holidays. There's Rayman Legends, Killzone... And I'm still working on Persona, with Muramasa, Dragon's Crown, and The Walking Dead on deck. Seriously, I'm totally content and feel my money has been well spent. Would I love for it to get the kinda of support the DS and 3DS have? Sure, but I spend way more time with my Vita anyway. I understand it won't appeal to everyone. But for me, I couldn't ask for anything else. Except PSO2 localization. Someone, please, make it happen. I'll buy 20 copies.

There's a DOA demo...Maybe look into that? I"ll be buying it tonight along with New Little Kings and Marvel v Capcom

Just picked up the Spyro trilogy on PSN last night. After a little while I realised that if I switched the control mode to digitial, then mapped the d-pad buttons to the Left Stick and the R2/L2 buttons to the Right Stick horizontal axis, I could have Spyro with dual-analogue movement/camera.

Bless you, Vita.

I went to sleep after the conference, but I came out with better impressions that SCEE at least cared about the Vita rather than that SCEA showing we got at E3. Rogue Legacy on Vita's going to be awesome, that actually made the conference for me. Borderlands 2 Vita being the major non-indie anouncement really speaks volumes about 3rd party support on the Vita to me, but I am looking forward to playing it if it's a decent port.

So I'm kind of mixed about the show but it was a better showing than E3 at least. Now to wait for TGS and Gravity Rush 2.

Cross-save, yes, not cross-buy though. And Vita folks can't play together with PS3 folks.

A token post of how great KZ Mercenary is. No great comment of insight, just one of satisfaction at portable Killzone 2, affection for the customisation/levelling and astoundment at the visuals.

I'm quite taken. Would love a Liberation sequel or a turn-based Killzone combat strategy, but Mercenary stands in its own armoured stumps incredibly well.

Buy Hot Shots/Everybody's Golf. Try the demo of Silent Hill: Book of Memories (It's fun if you actually have friends to play it with), buy Mortal Kombat, and play Persona 4 first. And yeah I agree that Soul Sacrifice is garbage. The talking book thing made me cringe.

The framerate is pretty bad when you have a large group following you. Despite the framerate, the game is enjoyable.
