Does anyone know if the Amazon.co.uk price for 32 GB memory cards that's been discussed in the thread is the new official price for the UK or if it's just a temporary deal on Amazon's part?

They've been a fair bit cheaper than most other stores for a while now so I'd presume that it's their regular price now. I wouldn't miss the opportunity to buy it this cheap though.

They could be making a larger game, the GA post mortem mentioned them wanting to make it open world, but nixed it due to it being to ambitious. It could also be something that directly ties into an unannounced PS4 game (say Naughty Dog's next one), and thus can't be revealed until before the bigger game is. A more pessimistic explanation would be that the game they're working on is now Vita/PS4, and they need more time to get the latter version ready.

And of course, it is a long shot, but it could be that the statement wasn't completely accurate. I think it was House who stated that all Vita games would have remote play support for example, which clashes with what has been said before, even at that very press conference (most games will support remote play). Given how the all 14 studios bit was said though, that seems pretty unlikely, but still, I thought I'd throw it out there.

Yeah I remember paying 30 bucks for Dive kick when I bought it. Oh wait I bought it for two dollars less than Steam and I can play it on two devices.

Also dive kick on Vita has a ton of aliasing and does not look native res. Coming from P4G it was a bit jarring.
 
Okay I got it all hooked up and got PS+ activated.

So, I never owned a PSP. What are some of the best games for that system that I could pickup? I think I read that PSP compatibility is digital, not sure how that works (sorry can't check gaming sites while at work).

The comparison was between mobile & vita, though. I was obviously exaggerating, but I'm sure the price disparity accounts for some of the increased profitability on vita.

The price of memory cards is keeping me from playing my Vita more. I got a 4GB as a pack-in and haven't felt like buying a new one yet.

Kinda messed up but I can't be the only one.

Really? You'd think a game that's as light on graphics as Divekick would run at native resolution. I don't think P4G was native res either.

I want to play Killzone beta but my 16GB card didn't allowed to do so. Have to opt for retail release if I ever want to bite it.

Seriously: mgs: peace walker, chinatown wars (if you don't have a DS), Liberty City, patapon 2 , street fighter alpha 3, valkyria chronicles and mgs: acid are games i can vouch for. Hell, I even remember immensely enjoying Ridge Racer when it came out. Everyone here is going to scream Persona 3, but I never played it on PSP.

4gb has to be virtually impossible. What does that fit, maybe half a game? 2 Zen pinball tables and wake up club? You might as well throw it away. I'm working with 8 and it's an absolute nightmare. I can afford to upgrade, but I refuse on a matter of principle. Sony got me - not once - but twice before with this scheme (minidisc & memory stick) so I'm holding out.

Amazon are doing it for £40 btw, although you'd have to wait up to three weeks since HUKD got there first.

Americans are paying $80 for 32GB cards. We're getting a much better deal here, lol.

Yeah, balls to it; changed my order to Sainsburys since it's £3 more and I was gonna pay for first-class delivery at Amazon anyway.

Wish Sainsburys did click and collect like Tesco, though.
 
So as someone who plays 99% of games for the story I picked up Persona 4 on Vita. When does the story really begin to pick up and get good? I just got to
the first interaction with the TV.

It takes around 3 hours for both the plot and the gameplay to pick up. P4G's plot is very slow at the start until the characters and settings are established.

I'd like to think that even if the game didn't sell well, yet ended up being as good as it looks now, Sony wouldn't neuter the team. I mean this is really impressive stuff. They need to start marketing the hell out of this. Do a COD tie-in for all I care (i know, it was a joke...).

Here's hoping Guerrilla Cambridge are here to stay. I think they will be, going by the utter black magic they're swirling around their cauldrons to produce Mercenary.

Ha, same thing here. Although I've been slowly converting to digital with all the sales they've been having.

I just sold my physical copy of DOA5+ for $25 and then bought the digital copy for $10. All these sales are just awesome!

Cambridge already is/was a support team (tech support for Heavenly Sword, KZ2, also system OS like PlayTV). They will be fine.

But I guess Killzone: Mercenary will be fine. First to break 1 million could be possible, pretty sure Uncharted would have without PS+.
