Welcome me to the fold, I just picked up the Walking Dead bundle. Looked around for the Instant Games bundle (naturally) but despite a few stores saying they had it in stock none did. Was lucky to find the Walking Dead bundle, all that was left in most places was a totally useless Madden bundle and some old 3G ones with no card.

That's not a bad thing if you played the game and enjoyed it.
I don't mind 1 bit that Guacamelee and Mutant Blobs are one sale for ridiculous prices. It's good, more sales for a spectacular developer. And I played them and beat them already and I'm glad I didn't have to wait.
Now there's a few other games, like DoA5+... that I could understand being miffed about. Hell, I'll still salty about paying $40 for UMvC3 with it now being $10.

First, they should launch TTT2...and then show Tekken Revolution on it. I played the fuck out of the Tekken games on the PSP, I'd do the same for TTT2.
Also, fighting games are meant to be played on the stick.
I have actually played fighters on the go more than any other method tbh. it's the perfect genre for portables for me. Tekken DR is easily my most played PSP games last gen...might even be my most played game last gen on any system
Here's what I think
Best Case Scenario: A Tekken game with extra characters like Tekken DR (I know there was a rumor of such a thing last year)
Good Scenario: Tekken Tag 2 vita
Acceptable/ok Scenario: Tekken Revolution vita
Uber suckage scenario: No Tekken

Okay guys.
So I'm redownloading Soul Sacrifice right now. I bought it at launch and didn't care for it much, and stopped playing it like 5~ hours in.
Any tips for returning to it? My biggest issue with the game was it was taking way too long to kill bosses. Not that it was too hard - that it was too long to the point where it wasn't challenging, just a grind. Should I just dump all my save/sacrifice points into the red? Is that viable?
Really, any tips are welcome.

Hey now, what's happening in those paper cutouts.It hit with its elemental weakness and play some online matches to strengthen up your spells. The early bosses in the game shouldn't take you no more than 7 mins.

Vita's price drop really seems rather pointless. It doesn't appear that SCEE/SCEA are advertising the new price point, and what little retail software the thing does get won't see massive ad dollars either. So they're hoping people ignored all the retailer specific price cuts? I guess SCE is actually discontinuing it in North America and Europe, which explains the exodus of internal SCE WWS productions and the multiplatform nature of Vita's upcoming lineup.
That leaves Japan, but I'm not too confident about that region either. With PS4 not launching this year in that region they need Vita to be successful. I just can't see how that's possible when the fall heavy hitters are God Eater 2 and Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD as those two are on more successful hardware in addition to Vita. Those games might as well be indie games compared to Pokemon X/Y and Monster Hunter 4.
Oh, and I totally called Andrew House never elaborating on what he meant when he said they'd be expanding Vita's presence in the living room at PlayStation Meeting 2013. Unless he's trolling his employer with a sly "We're releasing fuck all for this device post-Tearaway, so Vita will get to know the bottom of your drawer soon!" type of comment.

Picked that up myself, enjoying it so far, but haven't had any luck online. Don't know if that's my Vita or if online is just kinda dead. If anyone is up for some online play sometime let me know, always wanted to play some people in a DOA game.
Slut, you should have let me in on that, especially since its regained its spot in my vita after taking out P4G.
Edit- played some UMvC3 today. Nobody online just like with DOA5+. I'm starting with the heroes and heralds mode offline and I'm having fun. I'm glad im liking them. Thank you! guys who recommended DOA and UMvC. Well, until fights get harder. Then I'll come back here to curse you all out.

UMvC3 is a blast. I lied. It's still on my card.
I just booted MGS PW too... I really need to get on that some day, but since I'm not worried about transfarring at the moment and haven't been playing on my PS3, I guess it can go.
Spelunky is instant-buy material next Tuesday, especially if you have PS+.
I'll be dropping whatever I was playing to get it and try it out. I'm afraid it's going to become my next obsession like P4G.

Love how people claim the Vita has no games yet we're all freaking out over what to keep on our memory cards haha
I move back to school tomorrow, if the Internet lets me play online with the Vita I'll be adding you.
in NA/EU I think Sony just gave up on making Vita a relevant platform, with no big (AA) announcements, no Japanese games and only late ports and indies, and putting all their studio on PS4, Sony just want to sell Vita for the same crowd as Ouya and Nvidia Shield now (so general handheld fans who like to play western indies) so the price cut does make sense.
As for Japan, it's already over I think, Japan for the first time in decades is a one system land, there is no point of trying or waiting money on trying to do anything with Vita (or fight back with PS4) just see there is nothing for Vita after GE2 and there is complete lack of Japanese games announcements from Capcom,Namco,SE and the others, only thing Sony can do now is to wait and release a new handheld in a two or three years from now and hope they can pull a PSP again.

If I can be brutally honest, I honestly think that we conjure up this kind of reasoning to soften the blow when we see the things we bought for 40 or 45 are now being sold for 10-15
I am just being honest here. It kind of hurt to see so many stuff I already bought for full price are now being discounted so greatly. Makes me really want to reconsider my stance for buying stuff immediately vis-a-vis waiting for sales.

Namco does have some titles for Vita but they're all multiplatform. SE is irrelevant in general and Capcom is well....Capcom.
edit: but Takao japan studio does have freedom wars for 2014 but the reveal was really bad...

Nah. I really do buy things I know I'll enjoy and want to play at or near full price to support the devs. And I only get mad if I buy something and let it sit until there's a sale... but that's my own damn fault. If I bought it at full price, I should've played it when I got it.

I paid full price for Dynasty Warriors Next, and that was my first DW game too. I enjoyed it, minus the occasionally annoying touchscreen/gyroscope gimmicks.

you using the webstore or the one on the Vita?
I don't remember gryoscope to be too necessary. Almost everything done with the gyro can be done with buttons.
