Captain Crunch and Captain Kangaroo can join the smash festivities with Falcon's moves too.
 
Falcondorf really does need to be differentiated in Smash 4... Maybe let Captn have his original moves and evolve Ganon into Demise. That shit would be mean and he'd be a heavy with swordplay.
 
Falco should also be stripped of his own moves and turned into Captain Falco.
 
Kraid isn't big enough.
 
Krystal can either be Captain Falcon or Fox. Multiple choice of clone.
 
if krystal is in i'd be happy cause im a starfox fanboy
altho if she does i'd find her a unneccessary addition as theres already 3 starfox chracters and she would need to be drastically different than the others
 
Krystal would be so easy to put in the game. Not even playing. Just give her all of fox's moves in starfox adventure and call it a day. And plus! We dont have a character using a staff yet.
 
But all of Fox's moves in Adventures are all derivatives of his Smash moves.

Goddamnit I keep typing it as Adventure. It makes it sounds like Star Fox Adventure is the first arc of Dragon Ball.
 
Sonic 06 Sonic should get in the game with the same exact model from his game. He's a clone of Sonic but with a gimmick where he sometimes falls through the ground or takes damage whenever he runs into everything.


His entrance is a long loading screen, so the announcement counting down has to wait before continuing the countdown.
 
I really hope Palutena gets in.
Sakurai said that he doesn't want to play favoritism, but we well know that he's gonna favorite the shit out of Uprising, so I'm pretty confident she'll be in too.
Also I think that the female Wii Fit Trainer was chosen also because Sakurai listens to that "There aren't enough females in Smash Bro" shit, so Palutena fits even better.
I only hope she doesn't suck like Zelda in Brawl.
Damn she sucked (well to be honest basically every Zelda character sucked in Brawl, except maybe Toon Link).

Don't worry about it, I knew what you meant. I just meant that I don't see how adding another KI character would be considered favoritism. I think 2 KI characters would be considered reasonable if anything.

I agree but Sakurai is more humble apparently.
I just hope Magnus doesn't get in.

If it was for me it would be: Pit, Palutena and Medusa.

He wouldn't be a clone. And he'd be awesome. Also, you're wrong if you think Sakurai would put Mr. EAD or someone in Smash over the Midnight Bull.

The Sak already put THREE Kirby characters in Brawl. I think we can safely peg him for slight favoritism.

Kirby is one of Nintendo's most popular and best-selling series. Regardless of Sakurai's involvement, Dedede and Meta Knight absolutely deserve to be playable in Smash Bros. That isn't favoritism.

Not a problem as (1) they are trophies anyway and not the actual characters, so it can be handwaved. and (2) they could say viridi is doing it instead, since there is no way she's going to be chosen as the playable Uprising character.

In all fairness, Metaknight and Dedede deserve their spots in the roster. Weren't they planned for 64/Melee?

If anything, I think it's strange that Kirby didn't get a rep in Melee. His franchise may not be Mario/Zelda/Pokemon huge, but it's still an important franchise. 3 characters are justified real easy.

I don't think Metaknight and Dedede's inclusions says anything about Sakurai's favoritism IMHO.
 
Alas, I want Palutena as a playable character, but then we can't have all the gods duking it out in the battlefield of the new Kid Icarus stage.

I am torn. :(

In fact, that might just be my dream stage. The gods in the background, fighting while also making snarky and sarcastic comments about the fighters in the foreground.

Also with tsundere Viridi.

It's not like they weren't established or popular characters in their own right. Plus Kirby only got one stage in Brawl, which was kind of odd for having three characters.
