I don't understand why would ZSS be announced tomorrow. For now the reveals were all connected to new games coming out in the same period, but there's no Metroid coming.
Doesn't seem all that far-fetched, but I still doubt it is legit.
Some people can't see the image because 4chan blocks hotlinking. That's why I've asked for a reupload in the first place. (I don't care how unlikely the rumor is, tbh.)
I doubt we'll see a new Metroid game before SSB4 comes out. If they strictly go with that rule then half of the starting veterans wouldn't even get announced til release.

You're right, but at this point I'd prefer characters from franchise which aren't involved as for now. Talking about Ness, Captain Falcon, a Fire Emblem guy. Not at any cost a new character, but a character from a franchise which hasn't a rep yet.
Me too. It was very dumb that Ness/Falcon became unlockables again in Brawl, so I hope this isn't the same case this time or we won't be seeing them until release... What was the thought process there?!

Well maybe though, this just came up in my mind, Sakurai wants to announce ZSS so soon to put and end to all those "No more transformation characters" bullshit for the 3DS. Zelda alone would be still be a problem for some people to understand.
Lets them keep a healthy unlockables but still give them the ability to feature completely new characters in promotional material?
Dunno, Ness and Falcon being unlockables were unnecessary considering they were starters in Melee.
They had a lot of clones filling the unlockable roster at that point.

Sakurai felt like the roster was going to be leaked on the Internet as soon as the game came out anyway so he decided to make most of the newcomers starters. I suppose to hype up the game. It certainly did too! At the time it was like, ok we start with Pit, Meta Knight, Dedede, Pokemon Trainer, Diddy Kong, and Ike! We already know about Sonic and Snake so if these are starters who are the secret characters?! Back fired just a bit but for guys like me the end result is the same. I get surprised and excited when I just know who is making it in.
Not only for kids who grew up with Pokémon in 4th gen only.

Gotcha. I never really played as him or mewtwo in smash games, so it doesn't really matter to me anyway. A new Pokemon from a newer gen would be nice though. Keep stuff fresh.

Lucario is a godawful Mewtwo wannabe. He stands out as particularly godawful even among the legions of godawful-looking, uninspired Pokemon that Nintendo made after Generation One ended.
