If I can only buy ONE fighter out of these...

DoA5+
UMvC
Divekick
Skullgirls

Some background/thoughts
- I'm terrible at fighters, especially 3D ones. The only fighters I enjoyed a lot were Smash and Marvel VS Capcom (on AUTO), it was easier to do combos!
- I'm drawn to DoA5+ because VitaGAF recommends it as a veryVERY awesome port!
- Skullgirls, I already have it on PC so I'm not sure whether to get it again or not but oh well...
- Divekick seems more suited for me but I'm not terrible sold...
Honestly, if I were you, I'd skip all of them. You probably already have a couple from PS+ to play on Vita if you want something to play, and between that and Skullgirls on PC, that's more than enough to sink your teeth into.

I'll be dropping NLKS. When I saw the screenshots, I kinda want it but I guess the framerate issues do not warrant a buy at the current price though it's awesome (price!)

You can adjust the jiggle settings in DOA5+.

Need I say more?

Anyone else get this email?

Marvel. Easy to control, looks FANTASTIC on Vita, and imo the best all round game on your list, regardless of skill level.

Chapter 19 of Sigma. I'm so close, yo. I can almost taste it. I got through the boss rush section in one shot somehow with a good amount of great elixirs left but that end boss. fuuuuuuuuuccccccckkkkkkkk him. It's like they took all the worst parts of big monster boss fights and added a stupid mechanic with weird controls to boot. I ended up looking a vid and seeing that I should just spam ninpo. Which I did. No regrets.

Whats with this error every time I try to buy something from the store on my Vita???

My credit card is good, its on file, my address matches up, etc.

Also, I want to buy Legend of Dragoon. The store on the PS Plus page (website - not on the Vita) says its "Platform:PS3™, PSP®, PSVita" but when I click "buy download" and it takes me to the Sony Online Entertainment page to buy it, it says PS3 / PSP only...so...can I play this on my Vita?

Neither my credit card or debit card works on the Playstation store, so I just buy PSN codes from Amazon.

So after originally only playing chapters 1 and 2 of Knytt Underground and liking it but not enough to do chapter 3 straight away I finally got back to it on Saturday.

Now there is one thing this game does wrong. And that is call chapters 1 and 2 chapters 1 and 2, instead of tutorials. Chapter 3 is clearly the actual game and god damn is it a good game. Great adventure metroidvania type game. Like 1500 rooms or something. Looks great, plays great and has some really interesting platform puzzles in it. Doesn't hold your hand either. Suddenly learned something new I could do and that made me realise a bunch of things I couldn't work out before.

I can only guess its only got a 3 star rating on the store because of chapters 1 and 2 and that a lot of people that tried it when it was on the IGC didn't go any further.

Anyway for me this month will be Spelunky and Killzone plus finishing Knytt and playing more Uncharted fight for fortune. Should be a good month.

Indeed, Knytt is great and it deserves more love than it gets on VitaGAF. I loved the exploration and the humor.

Gold medal at last for that stupid level 19 of Mutant Blob. Too bad the game doesn't have plaitnum, still I'm gonna 100% the trophy anyway.

I'd actually buy Skullgirls if it was on Vita.

I just want a fighting game that actually works online and isn't a laggy mess. If that was skull girls then I would def buy.

my experience so far.

UMvC3 - hit or miss. Some, about 1 in 3, games would be decent, lag wise, but of those most would have people who quit the second they lost meaning you dont get a win.

DOA5+ - had some good games ONCE against RPGn. Against randoms it took forever to find a partner and then it wasn't often a good connection. Better than others but the length it took to get a game ruined it.

SFxT - almost all games played in slow mo due to lag

Mortal combat - havnt actually tried online as there is so much offline content and as much as I love the game I dont think I would like it online with all the teleport and spammy moves the game has.

In my experience, all vita fighting games works better than the PS3 counterpart, ranging from way better (DOA5, MK, UMVC3), some similar (Blazblue, SFxT). The only thing that doesn't work well is cross play matches.

But for me, fighting games works pretty well on vita (sans absence of fighting sticks and longer loading times).

Aah, goddamnit. I want it on Vita!

I guess there's a hope then.
I don't think it's just rumored, the devs themselves said on Twitter that maybe they'd do it on Vita after they've gotten it out on PC. If I had to take a guess, they've either already looked into it and are trying to decide whether they'd do it (as the game was released on PC, what, some days or maybe a week or two ago) or will start looking into it soon.

I doubt there's anyone in this thread that has played this online more than I have and I'm going to go ahead and disagree with you here. 75% of my matches are playable. Sure, I might have problems doing some Doom TAC swag combos but the matches are definitely playable and no where near the level you are suggesting.

Are you playing international games? If you limit you potential adversaries to your country it's again, no where near this bad

I'd check your internetz

I made it in this morning and scooped Blood Dragon, Mutant Blobs, and Critter Crunch before the sales died today......

*wipes sweat off brow*

Now Im ready for some Spelunky with a dash of Tokyo Jungle and a side of Skullgirls..

And there's always something extra on sale with PSN so anything else to leave me broke again....

When you guys buy Spelunky later, please select the PS Vita (yes it's Cross-Buy but let the devs know the Vita guys are here and we mean business)

And who wants La-Mulana on Vita?
I did my part on twitter - got them linked with @shahidkamal and @yosp - here's hoping he actually emails shahid!

I have to wait till I get home... No wifi at work and Job's internet is so lo-fi the webstore doesn't allow me to properly sign in.....

They have us using....................... Internet Explorer 8

Like he said. UMVC3 on PS3 is a mess online. Most of my experience playing fighters on vita is good or very good.
