From KI Friday, they didn't seem that much faster to me. So with that, you'll still be able to pull big combos in this game even if you have trouble in others.
EDIT: NVM, that video makes it seem pretty fast which is awesome! You have to commit now for a Light Combo Breaker

Character-select screen model lighting looks different than in-game. The latest in-game model does indeed look better based on that image.
Characters also look a bit different on every stage because of the lighting. Jago is really pale on Glacius stage for example.

Even crazier they finally implemented an option to STOP THE FREAKING CLOCK.

Exactly my thoughts. I was so disappointed with the change from EVO to Gamescom build, but now I can see that the model did improve. Maybe they need to fix/update the character select screen?

True, but then KI is getting the most coverage and updates. DH is doing the best job possible showing the game off - can't say the same about Crytek or Capcom, not to speak of Turn 10.

Yes, that is probably a more accurate expectation. The sticks priced at $129.99 are usually smaller models and Mad Catz are selling others, similar in size to the KI stick, at $159.99.
I'll keep my current TE and mod it when the option arrives. KI does not look execution heavy, I expect the controller to be fine for the time being.
I don't think they're releasing non-TE sticks for next gen, though they may just be waiting on their announcement.
