But seriously though, I do see a BD sequel for the 3DS. I think it proved itself to Square so much that it's getting a "director cut" this December. DQ11 I want to say will be for the Wii U (assuming the situation for that console will get better). But most likely though, it will be on the 3DS.

Haven't followed a whole lot of reception for Tomb Raider post-launch, but was it seen by most as an Assassin's Creed-lite (and much more linear)? That's what it seemed like to me. Like Assassin's Creed (playing Rev, thinking of skipping III and going straight to Pirates) and liked Tomb Raider (tressfx was very nice, even if it really took a hit on framerate :) ).

Jikkyou Powerful Pro Baseball 2013 has 5,902 pre-orders (Media Create). The pre-order bonus improves if a certain tier is reached: 10k, 20k, 30k, 40k, 50k, 60k, 70k and 80k. (The game content remains the same).

Does that sound like something you have seen before?

It would be easy to monetize. Your party is comprised of monsters. You can recruit some from the wild, but the strongest monsters are behind a gatchapon pay wall. You get some game currency every time you complete a quest. This can be used to roll for new monsters and a few other things. If you want more game currency, you have to buy it. The rest of the game is similar to DQIX.

I don't think this will happen, but if Square Enix wanted to go the iOS/Android F2P route, they could.

Close. It's seen as an Uncharted clone primarily.

In the thread we had comparing them, there were quite a few that liked it more than Uncharted 1 or 3, but most agreed that Uncharted 2 was the best of the "Uncharted + Tomb Raider (2013) series": http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=519480

That said, given this is a pretty highly rated series, that's a solid accomplishment for the game, even if it wasn't seen as super great as like... a Tomb Raider game.

Nope, it's what their preorder were at, at the same amount of weeks from releases than the new game coming out.

Edit: As always, those numbers don't mean much, they're just a very inaccurate barometer on how new games are performing compared to their predecessor. Don't read too much into it. Basically, it tells you that MH4 will probably (well it's guaranteed tbh) open lower than MHP3rd but higher than MHP2G and 3G.

GAF would end if that happened lol. I would honestly make a bowl of popcorn while I read through the thread and see meltdowns bigger than Bayonetta and possibly DQIX.
 
The meltdowns would be hilarious if P5 came to 3DS, but in all honesty I seriously doubt it's going to happen.

Type zero though? That's a lot more likely imo, but at this point I expect it to show up on mobile sooner or later. And a 3DS port of the first one would allow them to localize it (but they probably won't)

After DQx on Wii, I don't think the fanbase is ready for another beating. Of course they can go the ios route, but that doesn't mean its gonna pay off.

M&L is a case of overshipment, the numbers are actually pretty good, had they lowered the shipment abit it would be fine. Nintendo will just have to suck it up with lower profits this time.
