It's not her. She posted the pic on her Tumblr in 2012, and the pic is of somebody else.

(added alarms so people see haha)

But it's a fairly interesting topic anyway I guess!

So Hayley Williams shaved her head. I can't say I approve, her hair was one of her best assets IMO, but it actually looks pretty cool!

So it got me thinking about other female celebrities who shaved their head, and whether they pulled it off.

What say you GAF, shaved head on a female, yay or nay?

Depends on the face.

bing.

And do women not always regret it? Yes. You can shave your head and greatly change your look with a flick of the wrist. You can exercise that power. But should you? It takes you a lot longer to return to your previous look than it does for a man, so it seems to be a pretty long way to go for some variety.

Some can pull it off. Some cannot. The nice thing is seeing all the cute short hairstyles as it grows out.

Some girls can pull it off very well. I used to see a lot of shaved heads whenever they did St. Baldrick's at UVA, and some of the girls looked great.

Amber Rose can pull it off because of Redeeming Assets.
Skin can pull it off because of being punk-rock-chick.

All others, nay.

Haley didn't shave her head by my definition. That's just a short haircut. Being able to pull off the shaved head look depends on the shape of your head and your face in all honesty.

Never. Nay to all types of short hair as well. I don't care how many pictures of hot girls with short hair you post, GAF, I think they'd all look better with longer hair.

Buzzed/Shaved looks really good on a lot of women of African descent. Usually...not so good if you're of any other ethnicity.

If it can be pulled off, it can be one of the better looks.

If they can't pull it off, it's not something easy to overlook.

As an aside, sides of heads being shaved is way easier to pull off and looks way better.

Just like with men, it looks great with the right face and shaped to the head. Problem is most people won't know if it looks good on them till after they've already done it.

On the right person a buzz cut is super sexy.

I guess on the right lady it could be passable, even attractive. But in general I rarely care for anything shorter than shoulder-length.

I'm a guy who wishes he could get a buzz but knows it would look like complete ass. Going short first is probably the best first step, to test the waters.

Everyone should try shaving their head once. If you never even know what your own damn head looks like, what the fuck do you know?

Plus, I think it looks good surprisingly often, and like 'Bone up there you get to run a whole range of styles on the way back up.

Yes. It oozes style when a woman shaves her hair. If you can do that, and make that shit have a killer lining, than you're just amazing.

Even with a little bit of hair on the top, it looks unbeliveably sexy.

It looks terrible on every woman. It's literally one of the worst things in the world, just above genocide.

A beautiful woman is beautiful IN SPITE OF their short hair, not because of...about 98% of the time.

(Haley Berry looks better with short hair to me for an example of the rare opposite.)

Most of these women are beautiful. But they would look a whole lot more beautiful with a full head of hair.

Yeah, pixie cuts are great.

Impractical? How's that? It's like the lowest level of maintenance required!

I agree that it doesn't look good generally, but I don't get how having no hair/very short hair is less practical than long hair, that makes no sense to me.

Shaven heads are an anomaly amongst women. As they attract attention, it's nothing but a source of potential annoyances. Having long hair or even moderately short hair is the wiser and more practical thing to do, as it will make you go unnoticed in public.

Yeah, it definitely implies plenty of confidence which is always hot.
What about Sigourney Weaver?
Yeah, she pulled it off. But she's never been the most feminine of women though.
Yes please! It means we can get to the show on time...
This man has a very good point.

Oh right, I thought you meant impractical from a grooming pov. I guess I see your point, but most of these ladies will get recognised anyway!

Especially teeny tiny Williams with her bright orange hair, it's hard to miss her! She'll probably be able to fly under the radar more now to be fair.

The goal of individualism is to stand out in public.

After effects of a shaven head. Oh goodness~

My personal preference is long flowing wavy locks, so it's a neigh for me. That said some girls can pull it off, usually the ones with really striking facial features. First girl posted probably doesn't pull it off, Natalie Portman probably does, and then I think Angelina Jolie looks really hot.
