If anyone is (or will be) near a GAME today, I'd appreciate if you could keep an eye out for DOA5: Ultimate on 360 and lemme know the instore price. I'm gonna be near one later on after work and am thinking of picking it up, but it's only £24.99 online and I imagine it will be £29.99-£34.99 in store.

Just hoping to avoid having to go in there unnecessarily. I usually end up picking up more than intended, lol.

I'd somehow missed that this was getting a EU release - I was trying to avoid getting any more 3DS games, but Flubit offered it to me for £25.45 so can't say no to that! Gives me an incentive to get through EOIV faster at least (not that I really needed one)

It seems to have gone out of print in Europe. Thats why the price is high. Amazon.co.uk had it backorder for a while but they canceled everyone in April due to no chance of stock (I made the choice to grab to a used copy from Amazon warehouse).

It makes me wonder why it is not on the eShop or what the point of the demo still being up is. GAME had some "new" copies (i.e. a store or two found a pile and sent them back to head office) in stock about a week ago but they sold out quickly.

For me it's mostly the prices :P But for 3DS games the difference is negligible most of the time and I don't really mind the USK logos anymore.

I'm not so sure.

They announced Pokemon XL's which don't have the game bundled. Unless they're doing it on 2DS so more people buy that to raise sales and then say "Told you so!".

They announced Pokémon-themed 3DS XLs last week. Don't expect official bundles. Retailers (shopto) are already doing their own bundles for the Pokémon XLs with the game.
 
I cannot see Nintendo doing an official bundle (at launch), already enough buyers or both things so it would not be good for business.

Maybe a retailer will take it upon themselves a do on.?

GMG said they will upgrade everyone to launch day delivery. If that just means 1st class Royal Mail I guess it would be completely dependent on where you live. A city, you probably will get it. A rural place where 1st class actually take more than a day, well then you might be out of luck.
 
Depends where you live and what postal service they use. When I order online, i always get it the next day, but im in a major city. If you're in the middle of no where or on an island, then of course you're not gonna get it next day.
Not sure why so many are panicking about that request from R*, most will still receive it launch day.

Shopto have the white 3ds xl + super mario land 3d for £169.

I'm very tempted to get this as I want the white 3ds xl and mario land. Is this a good deal or better to hold off?

I'd wait for a better price personally.
Though I'm not a big fan of those bundles anyway, since Nintendo don't give you a boxed copy of the bundled game. Lack of a unified account system makes that a huge no no for me.

Amazon had deals before like £150 for an XL WITH a hard-copy game.

I say wait maybe a week or so. Or bite because you may not get another deal.

Thanks for the advice,

The main factor for me is that I really like the white 3ds xl alot more compared to the other the black + other coloured ones.

I might hold off but I do want to get a 3ds for pokemon x / y coming out and don't want to miss out on a good deal
