Awesome! I apparently got "lucky" when recruiting more troops for my army in Warrior's Way, and I got like 7,600 troops at once for just 15 Play Coins. That tripled my army count lol.

Going to a couple sporting events in the next two weeks and I'll be taking my 3DS. Both times I'll be going through Chicago so hopefully I'll be able to get a tag or two.

Ah! Had seen that on the "last played title" from some Japanese Miis and was wondering what it was.
Lose to the Emperor a few times to put yourself at > 8x below his number. Then the game "feels pity" for you and automatically gives you that. :lol
When I still went to campus for school, I would sometimes pick up some Crystals for Kid Icarus (maybe like 6, total...).
Beyond that, I've never ran into anyone via StreetPass, and I used to carry it around in suspend mode a lot for currency in RE:Rev.
Here is to hoping the new exchange hubs or w/e it is will make it easier - I played around on the VITA's Near thing for a while recently and it would show a lot of people playing games actively and such. Pretty nifty, but I don't really care for all those social features unless they are people I actually know.

I was wondering if I had just gotten really lucky or if it really was on purpose... I don't think I was quite that low in comparison to the Emperor though when I got it twice in a row (when I could only afford two bands of mercenaries).

So my son's 3DS has all of a sudden stopped giving/receiving Streetpass tags. Spotpass is fine, but no Streetpass.
Any ideas? I've tried turning SP on and off a couple times. Tried restarting. Tried turning network on and off.
I really don't want to have to format this thing.

Try changing his Mii's hat? I seem to remember reading that that can fix it.

Internet connections can interfere with streetpass (as it can only do one or other). If it is say in the home, try deleting the connection settings on the 3DS.
Edit: Gamefaqs lists up to 90,000 with 10 gaps which reeks of 100k -1 million in increments of 100k...I'm sure the Japanese wiki only lists up to 20,000 Edit2: Nope they go up to 90k as well...
Has anyone got beyond 20,000 tags yet? If it goes up to 1,000,000 tags that will be lame. With 1000 tags a day it would take nearly 3 years.Now you've just got to get all of the Plaza accomplishments and let us know what happens then

I erased the network connections and it sat in Streetpass mode and eventually worked.
I went to a Kumoricon last weekend and I own all four extra StreetPass games, and whenever I started going through them I had to remind myself to just stop after a while, because I literally got stuck in a loop of an endless stream of incoming streetpasses maxing out at 10 and playing through all the games to use them and then filling up to another 10. I could have continuously played the games through the entire con probably if I didn't force myself to stop. It completely changed the way I thought of playing those games, they become more like playing a regular style 3DS game you just progress in at your own pace whenever you want for as long as you want, as opposed to waiting for occasions to collect a few passes and savoring that time you can progress a bit.

You just know they will go upto one million, which will literally be impossible for the majority of the world. Well 90k might as well be a million really, there's no way I can manage that. I wonder if you even get anything other than a standard congratulations screen...?
Do you know if anybody managed to get all of the accomplishments before the update added the new ones? The old list should've been manageable in Japan...
What should happen is your Mii becomes 'special' once you've unlocked them all and gets the gold trousers and you get the gold info card. Also you count as a special Mii for anybody you pass. That would've been cool.

I'm missing the ticket for completing every puzzle box in the game. I had 23 puzzle boxes complete, figured hopefully there are only 25 or so.

Walking around the Minnesota State Fair last week I was able to get 17 tags. Then I took it to the Taste of Madison, WI and was able to get another 9 tags.
I was surprised to get so many at these events.

Yeah, we found that out when we had to look up box #39's solution. It's the first one I gave up on - though I did have another box that took me 20 minutes to solve.

You have to use their (a Mii) pieces and then when you make rooms there is a chance they (the Mii) might be in them (usually denying you a gold chest, which is worse when it is like 10 gems). So top you your queues with dogs/cats, maybe...
I'm starting to think I should have gone with team-ups rather than puzzle boxes as I can't spoof anymore which greatly reduces players I pass with the game.

Got 13 or so streetpasses at the Chicago Cubs game.
Relay system works well and I suspect I got most of them that way. My friend had his 3DS and we streetpasses naturally twice and another two times via relay. Definitely reassuring after coming up empty at some relay locations recently.

So, Saturday I happened to be in a more populated area so I took my 3DS to a McD's and Starbucks. I waited for a few min in sleep mode, and not a thing.
Just as a test, I decided I would try to attach to the Internet at each location. My 3DS would see the ATTWIFI access point, but the "test" part of the connection would always fail. Furthermore, even though it saved the connection, and the indicator turned blue and said "Internet", the 3DS browser would not display any pages.
Then I pulled out my iphone 4s and tried to connect to the AP. At McDs the phone showed the AP but wouldn't connect, then it disappeared from the list and would never come back. I was sitting IN the restaurant. At Starbucks, it connected to the AP (eventually) but then I couldn't pull up a single web page. And this was with full bars.
I'm starting to think there's something weird going on and it's not my devices because they all work fine with other APs.

No, all that hats acquired from Find Mii, Find Mii 2, and Find Mii 2 Secret Quest are still acquired the same way as before.

You know what I was saying about people with large armies being trolls in streetpass battle. Well no more spoofing for me means real relays. 8 hits, 2 have played the game. Their armies:
~3500 and ~300
My army:
~380,000
The absolute smallest part I can make is larger than their whole armies. I've become corrupted and the very thing I despaired
Of course with so few players passing it is unlikely any other players (including those) will see me.

Since May, until the week before labor day, I had received 0 streetpasses (except for Iwata's during E3).
Almost four whole months with no Streetpass, I went through Orlando airport, and got 7 going into Florida, and 3 on the way out (with 1 of each pack being the same person).
Kind of disappointing,

i bumped into someone just today who had an army of over 4 million.
and they didn't even offer me any troops. such greed
