Super Smash Bros Wii U and 3DS Thread 2: Where Pilotwings is apparently Minecraft

*bro fist*

I definitely want some GC Animal Crossing music in the next game. Best song ever.

If that's not in the game now that Villager is a fighter, I don't know what I'll do.

Dead serious, if the Animal Crossing arena is somehow set with your console's clock, and plays the music coordinating with the time, oh man.

On a more off topic note, I want to dive back into New Leaf now :P

Had this idea of having two Animal Crossing stages, one that has various Animal Crossing music like Smashville and another where each hour had it's own track like in Animal Crossing. Since the New Smashville stage looks to be split into ala Mushroomy Kingdom maybe that will become a reality? Would definitely enjoy the nod.

Wild World sold a lot.

Yeah, I'm just surprised they didn't want to put Villager in as a character then, despite giving the series so much love in every other department.

At least he's here now, finally (even though it's mostly because there weren't many other IPs to draw characters from IIRC)

Duck Hunt sold a lot of copies.

hmmmm

These are pretty entertaining since I wasn't on Gaf back during the Brawl Dojo.

Oh man, so many people really thought Marth was going to be cut? I didn't know much about Fire Emblem back then, but I still knew Marth was the franchise mascot and had no chance of missing Brawl.

Thoroughly disappointed by all the people calling PT Ash. See, THIS is why you should have called him Red, Sakurai! People are dumb and don't know enough about Pokemon. :K

yeah one thing I noticed reading the old thread is alberto posting alot more just in general, he also was getting hyped and everything, i always pictured him as the "stay cool" kinda guy

I always keep my expectations in check. I just want:

- 100 hour single player
- 200 hours worth of cutscenes
- 90 playable characters
- No glitches
- A playable Ridley that fills the entire screen
- Pokeballs that contain Pokemon that aren't even in the series yet
- 8 different Final Smashes for each character
- 1000 remixed songs
- The most competitive game since the existence of games
- 3240p 600fps
- A Ganondorf with a unique moveset

Well come on, the last one is plausible.

Personally I want

- Romance Simulator replacing SSE, with FE:A's marriage system hamfisted in so I can play as my adorable Sonic X Peach spawn in a whole lot of unmoderated online lobbies
- A 'serious' plot that somehow simultaneously tackles the economic downturn and the Freudian interpretations behind DK's obsession with bananas
- Wavedashing returns, but at the same time tripping does as well ten-fold
- A dozen more debates about Zero Suit Samus having heels or whether Sakurai stayed true to cannon for a few cartoon characters I may or may not be directly responsible for before SSB4 comes out
- K. Rool, but only if he's inexplicably decked out with golden crocodile nipples
- To come out on PC

The End.
Also sorry about that /v/ rumor I posted a couple weeks back turning out to be a bust guys! Been busy with a major amount of school work lately to comment on anything.

If they let you freely place pieces and use more backgrounds/tile themes it would be instantly better.
Found it funny that you could disable the buffer zones around items with cheats and build a stage with pieces within pieces and the game didn't care. So the buffer zones were there for no reason.

Yeah never got that. The editor was a nice idea but very lazy in the end.
Maybe next time will be better.

At the very least stage builder should let you have 'themed' sets based around each represented franchise in Smash, such as having a World 1-1 set up I can easily recreate with Green Hill wrecking balls and breaking platforms to really play up the crossover aspect. Letting people put in custom graphics/textures is going to lead to nothing but dick and goatse stages though, and Sakurai probably knew this as early as Brawl.
Makes me wonder if Mii really does happen how they'll deal with the endless swarm of Hitlers/literal-dick-heads/Bin Ladens online as well.

I also don't see why custom side or vertical scrolling stages (even though I know most people hate that shit in Smash) couldn't be done rather easily on the Wii U's power nowadays. 3DS's stage builder will probably wind up a lot more basic than the Wii U's, but letting you bring over the info for your Wii U stuff and share what you've made via street-passing for people to upload stuff they've received from their 3DS to their Wii U to reinterpret would be really cool. Since New Leaf I've been impressed at how creative some mystery people at my uni can get with their houses and the like.

This provided me with endless laughs, especially 3240p 600fps. :lol

Ha! New moves for Ganondorf, you are asking way too much man.
