Ah crap. Flubit gave me a great deal of £38.96 on KZ:SF but I don't want to pre-pay this early and I don't want to not get it on the 29th. Dammit Flubit.

Save a pound on lunch everyday till launch and you'll be able to justify purchasing it on Amazon lol.

Thanks for answering fellow GAFfer. Seems that I will order my items with a friend of mine so we can get MRW to ship us the items considering that they would need a bigger package for both of our items.

Also, what would you consider a Big Package? Thanks in advance.

Packages bigger than a X360/PS3 Fat box. From my experience they always use MRW for that kind of packages.

But smaller packages are hit and miss and don't seem to have a lot of logic, I had a hard drive disk that doesn't fit on a mail box sent via Royal Mail while they sent me a PS Vita memory card from MRW.

I'm actually a little "afraid" that they will send GTA V via Royal Mail because since June the packages from Royal Mail started to take a lot more time to be delivered to me (went from 3 days to 2 weeks).

Best UK deal on a PSVita and the most massive memory card available? Just heard from the Sony conference that the new model will replace it and will drop the OLED screen for plain LCD.

Don't need bundled games as I have PS+.

They will also release a 64 Gb card, so you might want to hold out a little on buying a 32 Gb one...

32GB card @ Amazon.co.uk for 39.99
PSVita @ Zavvi for ~143GBP.

Surprised at the generous GTAV flubit prices. I got offered £31.46, although in the higher end, it's still a damn good price

[Preorder] The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker [Ganondorf Limited Edition] -£50.99 @ GAME (use code VCUKSEPT13)

Not earth shattering, but £3 cheaper than last time it was posted

Thanks.

Is it possible to stack promo codes and use more than one? I tried using the GAMEPAL (10% of £50 and over) code on top of this one but it didn't work.

Ah too bad, wanted to order a PS3 from them, TheHut/Zavvi do ship consoles right?
From Zavvi Help page:

Are there any restrictions on international deliveries?

Please note that we do not ship certain products outside the United Kingdom.
These include, but are not limited to, all electronic products, aerosols,
fragrances, and liquids with high alcohol content. Orders received for
such products that are destined for shipping outside the UK will be cancelled.
My friend preordered a PS4 from Zavvi only to have it canceled couple of hrs later.

Thanks for answering fellow GAFfer. I also share the same concerns about deliveries which is a shame indeed. They had the perfect delivery system for 100% of the time I used them. With MRW it was always fast and the service was always great but I don't want to risk ordering items just to find out I'll be getting a much more inferior and slow service. Again, thank you for your impressions.

32GB card @ Amazon.co.uk for 39.99
PSVita @ Zavvi for ~143GBP.

Sweet, thanks. Giving some serious consideration to jumping in with that.

EDIT: Noticed that the Vita thing seems to be a Mega Monday deal so I've jumped in. Only down side, the memory card is on 1-3 week dispatch on Amazon :/

Worth noting that GAME have both the Killzone or Mega Pack plus 8GB card bundles for £154.99 using the code VCUKSEPT13. Could probably sell the extras and do better than the Zavvi deal, even if you have no interest in them.

Preordered Zelda CE and Pokemon with the 15% off code. £80 is a little owch but those are the only 2 titles I want really in October, everything else can wait.

I bought Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner from Game with that promo code, since I doubt it'll drop in price much ever. Also got some eshop credit.

Preordered the new Pokemons from GAME, got it down to £60 with the discount code.

It hurt that they weren't already £30 each, trust me.

Guys, what is the consensus on this new LCD Vita and buying the OLED Vita before it comes to phase the original out? I'm assuming it will replace the original one in the long run.

Many are saying OLED > LCD, so what is the benefit of LCD? Just cheaper costs? Or is it not gonna make much of a difference and would still be worth waiting for a good LCD Vita price in the future?

Asking here since I'm just wondering about whether to look more into the current deals on OLED Vitas.

There is little to no comparison in regard to image quality of the new LCD variant.

But LCD has the benefit of better battery life, because the technology is more mature, it is also cheaper to produce and therefore cheaper to replace if something happens.

As for the burn-in issues or ghosting - we just have to wait until November and read the impressions then.

pre-ordered A Link Between Worlds, DKC Tropical Freeze and Bravely Default with the GAME code. GAME is the first store I saw with a listing for Bravely Default and DKC TF comes in cheaper than my previous pre-order @ zavvi and ALBW breaks even with zavvi but will arrive way sooner!

Alright, cheers. So it might even be worth waiting it out till some time after the LCD Vita launches and the possibility of more cheaper prices than now.

Do dead pixels still exist these days with these Vitas? Or are the pixels so tiny now that you just wouldn't notice? I remember they were always obvious on the original DS, and only slightly noticeable on PSPs. Does this problem still exist for Vitas?

Thanks for reminding me :)

Pre-ordered too

Anyone know when GAME charge funds when paying by Paypal? I know normally with pre-orders it's day of dispatch, but with Paypal it might be different?

EDIT- just found out, nevermind! day of dispatch like always.

Shit. Too late now, I already ordered from Zavvi.

I've been selling a few games on ebay recently and one buyer has refused to pay and I've opened up a case against them. Has anyone here done this before and what normally happens? It's the first time I've had to do this after after 8 good sales.

See if he pays, if he doesn't, give negative feedback and re-list the item.

I sure as hell hope you haven't sent the games on good faith already.

He replied with a story about family problems causing a lack of money which would be fair enough apart from the fact that he's bought about 5 other things since my auction ended. I'm going to open a case against him since sellers can't give negative feedback it seems, which is BS since he is probably going to cost me £15 since Saints Row IV has dropped so much in value since my auction ended.
