22+ EUR does mean that certain countries will have to pay import taxes. And Play-asia makes sure that the correct price is on the package.
Which ones?
I just received a package, which was declared as $30 and it went through. $30 is currently 22.74EUR.

Maybe they checked the currency exchange on the date the package was sent? Back then it probably was 21,98 EUR converted. ;-)

but to get the 50Euro off DriveClub you have to have a PS4 preordered. Amazon should have mailed you a code if you have. If not ask them via chat about the 50 Euro and they will send one out.

I never had to pay Belgian import taxes on things that are +22 euros from playasia, been a while since I last bought from them though. But ordered a few games recently so will see if they have import duty, hopefully not.
but you are only eligible if you have preordered ps4 before 25 of July.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong , but yes, you need to buy it through the PSN Store.
I added credit to my PSN Wallet, bought the PSN+ sub through Store and I got the 3 months extra right away (06.09.2013. - 06.12.2014.)
yes, apparently this time you need to buy direct from store to get the 3 extra months rather than use a pre-paid 12 mth PS+ card
For whatever reason it doesn't show 3 months bonus when you enter a buy a year page. So how do you know you got it?
Hmm, okay. I may end up cancelling the order with Fireworks and going through Amazon instead, they have 1st class delivery on GTAV, for 40p less than Flubit offered me. I think I'd rather be safe and sound. Thanks for the positive impression though.

Yeah that's a similar way to how I did it. Means you're getting 15 months worth but also for a little bit cheaper than the £40 too with the cheaper PSN cards.

I bought a £35 code for KZ:M meaning that I got it for £25 instead of £30. Tempted to get a couple more for PS+ but I'm already good till 2016

Customs just didn't check your package, really.
I ordered Dokuro from P-A on November 12th 2012. Cost was US$ 31.90 (~24.66 EUR at the time). That was also the value on the envelope.
After an agonizing wait, the game finally arrived on January 14th 2013 (so after a whopping 8 weeks (of 'business days') in limbo).
Alongside it, I got an extra bill of 21,92 EUR (9,92 on import taxes and 12 euro on "administrative costs" for BPost).

On 3DS first it was Luigi's Mansions 2 and Fire Emblem at £32.99, now most new releases/pre-orders seem to be listed at £34.99 (Zelda A Link Between Worlds, Yoshi's New Island)
This seems to be happening with Wii U too, previous new releases like Pikmin 3 and New Super Luigi U were around £29.99, now a number of Wii U pre-orders are listed at £44.99! (Super Mario 3D World, Zelda Wind Waker HD) I certainly dont think Wind Waker HD should cost that much.

Less profit on hardware due to price cuts for Nintendo means they need to increase their cut on software, leading to higher retail prices? Just guessing here...

i noticed that tooo.
maybe nintendo had to sell games at a lower price due to the fact that there were no games available on the wiiu. now that they have a few out there (pikmin3, wonderful 101, game and wario) and christmas is comming they might feel comfortable enough to sell games at regular prices again?

Free shipping with P-A sucks, on average my stuff takes around a month to arrive. Formality costs of Bpost are bullshit, its more than the actual import tax! Also does gift wrapping help get it through without duty from customs?
No I bought the Mega Monday special offer one from Zavvi which was just the regular one, I didn't want to pay extra for the games I either already own through PS+ or didn't want.
