Chespin looks more tempting now, torn between it and Froakie. There's too much to think about regarding which pair of starters to pick.

I think my main problem with the Chespin evolution is that it doesn't look like it's grown at all in stature. Could easily be a basic.
It just makes more sense for the starters to counter each other, but seems like we are heading to a terrible double SE setup.
Can someone avatarize this for me?

I'm sure i'll see a Gen 6 design I truly love at some point, good to know that the one I do quite like (Pangoro) is walking into the land of fairies ready to get swiftly fucked up by a small amount of pixie dust with these type chart revelations.
This isn't to say I dislike the designs here or think they're bad though. I can't help but think fat Chespin would've gone down better had it retained the same style eyes as its first form, those eyes it has right now make it look unintentionally terrifying in a sort of hilarious way.
Second form for the fox is a swerve in the sense that it has a far more feminine look than any other starter, it's a nice change in some respects but I wasn't expecting it to hop up on its hind legs, the way its fur spans out before the legs and the change of colour gives it a skirt like look, maybe that witch theory isn't too far off the mark.

Can't believe people aren't into Chespin's evolution - I didn't have a clear favorite before but now I'm Chespin all the way. Hopefully the finally evolution is similarly round and goofy.
Also a big fan of MewtwoX... still not as good at the original but far improved compared to MewtwoY.

I feel the same way about Chespin. I had no idea who I was going to pick for a starter but Chespin all the way.

Oh jeez, Fennekin's evolution is not very good looking. I'm still gonna pick him, so fingers VERY crossed that the final form looks better, but... well...
Also ew at doubling up on MegaMewtwos (even if we knew it was going to happen already). And ew at them showing starter evolutions at all. Though I guess this is almost certainly our last bit of news before release, huh? So it's not terrible.
...why would they get rid of two of Steel's resistances, though? If they were going to rebalance types, Steel didn't really seem like a big offender... but ah, well.

Ah ok, so it's ecxlusive to X. Does that mean that potentially you could transfer 'Mewtwonite Y' to Pokemon X and evolve Mewtwo into MegaMewtwo Y?
Froakie's evo looks boss. Kind of indifferent on the others though they aren't too bad.

Speaking of confirming my first notions, Froakie's evo just does more to insist that I will definitely be going double Water for starters in X. That Evo just looks too hood, and I want it on my squad along with Mega-'Toise.
For my Fire-related needs, that's what the promo Torchic is for!
I wonder if this gives credence to the theory for why they insisted the Mewtwo from the new movie with Y's Mega Evo is a different individual? Because the OG is going to get this one? Here's hoping!

Don't like Chespin at all. Lol. Kind of disappointed with Fennekin, but with its design for the 2nd makes me look forward to the 3rd evolution. It has potential. Froakie now has my interest. :3

Ice Sauropod: looks like it should have been Rock/Fairy. Too bad about the typing.
Dragon Tyrannosaur: Hah, I speculated a Rock/Dragon T. Rex Pokemon would get an abilit that affected bite moves. Also, notice the feathers.
Poodle: Don't understand why people think the design is bad; it's simple and naturalistic like many Gen 1 designs

Great concept. I guess the next Pokemon movie will feature Mega Mewtwo X. Could this be the Mega Evolution of the original Mewtwo?

Ugh I really don't like Chespin's evolution which sucks because I usually go for that type. Froakie looking a lot more likely as my starter now. Fennekin isn't too bad.
