I actually like Hariboogu's design, even though its body shape is a bit similar to Pignite's

Yeah, the Pokkèn Tournament thing.

It is interesting how this type of thing has worked out. Pokkén's two main poster boys have Mega Evos, and now Mewtwo has a fitting Fighting form, himself.

Even if not every character in that game has a Mega Evo, at least the most popular entrants stand to do so.

Furthermore, I wouldn't be surprised if The Pokémon Company may stand to play into this for the sake of Mewtwo likely appearing in both Pokkén and Smash 4. Smash gets the "Y" form, while Pokkén gets "X". Both products only doing more to help advertise the main Pokémon games on the same token.

This right here. So disappointing. Grovyle looks amazing. Sceptile is pretty weak.

Although I really dislike the Fennekin evolution the final form could be amazing (doubtful, they ruined it as soon as they went bipedal imo.)

Mega Mewtwo X is Psychic/Fighting, with a boosted Attack stat and Steadfast for an ability. It Mega Evolves using Mewtwonite X, which is exclusive to Pokémon X. The previous Mega Mewtwo is exclusive to Pokémon Y.

Pokemon X is the superior version.

Also the starter Pokemon evolutions are horrible. That brown dinosaur will be miiiine!!!!

Toxicroak is deliberately ugly and creepy, and that's why I love it.

This was their one opportunity to buff the Ice-type but they did fuck all. What a waste of time. At least the new Pokemon look good.

I was thinking they could just buff the Ice type by buffing Hail; if Hail increased Ice type defense by 1.5 the same way Sandstorm increased Rock type special defense, Ice types might be more useful.

Not a fan of either Mewtwo, but I think Mewtwo X would look pretty rad if it had Mewtwo Y's head tail. #TeamZ

Ah, can't believe I overlooked that. That's interesting though, considering that those aren't normally strong offensive types. Usually you just see them for stab, maybe now they'll occasionally show up as coverage. Though I imagine the net effect will just end up with steel being a little more dominant.

I see the pattern as more like this.

• base Mewtwo: Frieza final form (Colors, body shape with long flexible tail)
• Mewtwo Y: Kid Buu (Weak limbs and body, giant head tail)
• Mewtwo X: Fused Saiyan (Has the weird shoulder protrusions)

Therefore, the inevitable Mewtwo Z will look more like Cell.

Now Gengar doesn't need Focus Punch to lay down the hurt on Blissey. It can destroy her with Poison Jab
