My guess is, since it's based on France, they're going to be based on typical medieval fantasy roles: knight/warrior, rogue/thief and mage/wizard. Since Chespin's evo makes it a little... weighty, I'm going to assume it's going to be the knight type. Grass/Fighting might still be in the cards.
Then next gen I guess.

I'm liking pretty much all the designs I'm seeing in the mag except for fennekins evolution. They're all simple which is what I like.
Yep. His ol Final Fantasy last boss looking ass. Garchomp leads my "not fucking with under no circumstances" list. Dragon jet reaper? Man.
Gyarados is the only Pokemon I can recall that comes close.
Generally, it would be better if this was a witch cat pokemon, bipedal or not. Oh well, I always wanted a fennec fox so I don't have a problem with it though... But the witch idea would be perfect if it was a cat.

So expect a dark knight chestnut.
