This is a good initiative graverobber, I would join you guys if my main was 50. Maybe we should start doing this every weekend for a couple weekends to make it consistent? This might be last minute for a few folks since its only a couple days away.

I'm still unsure of what job class to play. I wanted something akin to Dark Knight from FFXI, but there doesn't seem to be anything like that. I started with Marauder cause the AF looks close and Bloodlust is a thing, but they seem to be a tank, rather than DD.

Are my only options for melee DD really Dragoon and Pug? Cause, bleh. Is playing/speccing a Warrior/Marauder as a DD rather than tank feasible, or no? I played a Ninja DD in FFXI, but that was sort of their original purpose, anyways.

They added a 3 pack before the first boss that gates him. Another pack + patrolling big guy in front of the second boss. Two patrolling big guys in the room before the last boss.

Neg, I exaggerated, but nearly to 45. And as I said I passed on other upgrades that were minor just for the look. Definitely ended up taking a chest armor from cutters cry that ended up replacing the Infantry chest for instance.

Doubt it, since those prices are in there to prevent people from warping all over the place. Which makes sense. Since like open world games you can seriously cut down your playtime by warping all over the place.

They need to keep people in the game somehow and by having everyone warping around all over to get to where they need to go kills the whole business model of MMOs in general.

Seeing how easy it is to hit 50 also, its just sped up even more by warping.

Be thankful its even in the game at all.

I don't mind speedrunning being gone, but i see why people did it so much + definitely agree that the trash mobs should drop nice things (or at least have a chance to). Maybe spawn some chests when you clear an area of something.

If you are smart about your favorites, generally you can cut down costs and location of where to warp from.

If you are going poor from warping, then you are picking the wrong points to warp to is all I can say really.

I have no problem with full darklight taking a few weeks to get. This content needs to last until December (2.1). If people see everything within the first 30 days what reason do they have to subscribe?

We'll see how that turns out for them I suppose. As someone that has played MMOs for a long time and has a tolerance for these things thats more resilient than others, i dont think its a good idea at all.

Got Cavalry belt, body, and gloves. Completed currently with a set of Steel Flaunchards dyed snow white. Since I'm now Level 35 and took down Titan, not sure if its worth running Brayflox for the legs, since better armour is probably not too far away?

Also, Titan music was an enjoyable change of pace. Pleased to see theyve fixed the "no home for Primal KO victim" since in the last bumrush on Titan I got punched into oblivion and had to spend 10 mins laying on the ground to get punted out of the instance. A tanking hero's reward

Must admit that I'm sort of happy that speed running AK is now impossible.

As someone that never bothered trying it, it seems broken and completely destroyed the endgame. People really shouldn't be able to get some of the best armor in the game a couple of weeks after launch. It needs to be a goal you slowly progress towards.

Additionally, it might cut down some of the gear elitism at the endgame since you can no longer spend a day or two running AK to get most if not all of the Darklight armor.

There's a cap on Mythology tomes, so people weren't running around in full Wyrm etc armour anyway!

This maintenance implemented countermeasures to further relieve heavy server stress on the Duty Finder and instance-related Worlds.

With this measure, group matching is now split among the following three groups for the selection process.

The Duty Finder and quest instance battles are handled internally in their own separate Worlds. In addition to the above measure of easing server load by splitting the selection pool amongst the above groups, we have also increased the number of instance-related Worlds on which battles occur.
This measure allows the facilitation of more instances, decreasing cases in which players must wait for an instance to become open after they have already been matched by the Duty Finder or the quest instance battle has been initiated.

We have implemented the addition of the following Worlds.

- Japan data center
Unicorn/Yojimbo/Asura/Belias/Zeromus

- North American/European data center
Mateus/Brynhildr/Zalera

Please note that, upon first opening of the new Worlds, we predict a concentrated influx of characters in the low-level zones of said Worlds. Therefore, until characters have evened out and dispersed into the various zones, we will be implementing Character Creation and login restrictions. Please be aware.

In addition, as a result of splitting the group matching for the Duty Finder into 3 groups, we are now able to expand our services easier. We will continue to monitor concurrent logins and the increase of new players in each World and, if needed, periodically add new Worlds starting from October.

We will announce details regarding this at a later time.

Because there are so many users attempting to login even when the maximum allowed number of concurrent logins has already been reached (in other words, when login restrictions are in place), we have now implemented an auto-logout feature. In an attempt to provide as many users as possible a chance to login, characters that appear to be inactive for thirty minutes will be automatically logged out of the game.

[Login Restrictions Directly After Maintenance]
In the time period just after maintenance has completed, we predict a rush of characters logging in simultaneously. In order to prevent any technical difficulties due to this login rush, we will be temporarily placing severe login restrictions. These login restrictions may occur frequently, lasting from a few minutes to ten minutes; however, restrictions will be lifted in a gradual manner as login status is carefully monitored. We ask for your patience and understanding in this matter.
