Super Smash Bros Wii U and 3DS Thread 2: Where Pilotwings is apparently Minecraft

lol

Is Luigi going to have his typical feminine attack?

I just played a ton of brawl cause I had someone around to smash with.

Seeing brawl's visuals for an hour or two really makes me appreciate the graphical improvement that Smash U promises us.

This one?

I hope so :P

Yeah, that one. Imagine doing that attack to Zero Suit Samus touching her...you know those spheric things in front of her.

I've seen it in one of his pictures. Sadly, his moveset seems the same from Brawl, instead of one more similar to Luigi's Mansion.

Since I played Luigi's Mansion I wanted Luigi to have his Poltergust but he never got it in Brawl :( That could do some interesting things with the Ice and Fire stuff it does

Similar to Luigi's Mansion? Luigi's moveset there consists of:

Walking
Running
Interacting with Scenery
Using the Poltergust

We're already 3/4ths of the way there.

He can use the pultruguist as an attack that pulls in people and items, maybe it could shoot them back.

I made a moveset about him.

Up special: he fills up a balloon like he does in Luigi's Mansion 2 and flies up. It can reach amazing heights but almost everything can blow up the balloon and he falls.

Normal special: Luigi uses the torch to stun enemies with a flash. You can charge the attack up to 5 seconds to stun them for a great deal of time, or just tap B and stun them for like 1/2 seconds.

Side special: obviously suck and blow enemies with the Poltergust (enemies can try to avoid by running in opposite directions). It's hard to pull off but your can launch opponents against other opponents to hurt them both.

Down special: stays almost the same (the tornado thing) but launches three/four flames like Mario's special in all directions.

Normal moves stay the same.

Final smash has something to do with the dark light I suppose.

Okay I'm done. Too much internet for me, and I just woke up.

But that's relatively tame by internet standards.

When peach was revealed yesterday there were a load of pictures on /v/ comparing her breast sizes in the smash bros. games.

And even that's pretty tame compared to the rest of the internet

Uhhhh, no.
Mewtwo and Ridley are before him in just about every single poll that has been made. But Rool takes a very solid third spot.
I don't count Mewtwo as a newcomer.

As for Ridley, both are more or less even when it comes to demands and in Japan, whereas Ridley is barely requested, King K. Rool is actually fairly highly requested there.

I think he said that because it's already been pointed out in the thread, and I assume you missed that.

Yeah I probably missed them ._.
The pictures are released way earlier than when I'm awake so I sometimes have a lot of late reactions to them :x

Peach's expression makes me laugh harder than it should lol

what the heck are you gonna do with all of those Fennekins?! Cook them?!

No, he should make broom out of fennekins' tails.

Obviously I'm trying to get Glaceon and Fennekin to DNA Pokevolve :3

My god this thread is on fire! I had a lot to read in only 1 DAY!

Anyway today's image is awesome, while the game is in development I can't believe how good it looks.

Man, TGS is gonna be nuts :)

I honestly just want more villains. Too many goodie-two-shoes folks tiptoeing around Smash. Meta Knight barely counts as a villain, Dedede is often a good guy, Wolf's just a merc, Wario's just a greedy asshole, and Bowser goes karting in his free time. Only Ganondorf is a real playable villain.

I don't count Mewtwo as a newcomer.

Funny, that's a pretty good summary of Metroid as a whole. Rabid niche fanbase in the US, Japanese gamers don't give a shit about it even when they're blatantly pandered to (See: Other M).

What, her tits?

I like this moveset. As much as I love the SHORYUKEN, Luigi's specials have always kinda sucked.

I'd be pretty disappointed if they changed Luigi this much, I won't lie. His specials are pretty great as is. If they want to add references to other games, they could switch his Neutral-Special to a lightning ball (ala Mario and Luigi) and change his Final Smash or Down-Special to him using the Poltergust. I'd hate if they changed his Up- or Side-Specials, though, as they're pretty great as-is.

Hopefully sakurai shows some more character differences/improvements. I need my peach fix.

I'm still amazed by Peach's model it should be used in every game featuring her. She gives me the same vibes I felt when I first saw her after beating Super Mario Bros 3.

Everyone is all hyped up to see things at TGS? LETS GO! I'm all ready for that Little Mac reveal!

This. Revealing Peach? Not so interesting or unexpected. I'd also add Simon Belmont to the list of characters that would be highly relevant and iconic, despite his third party status. He's synonymous with the success of the NES.

It would be so amazing if Mario games used this games character looks for the main cast. Alas that's not going to happen.

I'm taking a "they're not safe until they're confirmed" approach with the roster, so even the more expected characters (like Peach) excite me. Obviously newcomers take the cake, but veteran reveals still interest me.

Same here. It's more fun that way. It work very well with all fighting games such as Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 and Street Fighter 4.

This is one of the graphical elements I like about the new Smash: the facial expressions are incredible! Despite the rough shoulder/less detail on her dress, I can't get over how hysterical Peach's face is.

And that's where that Luigi GIF comes from! Been bugging the crap out of me.

I would like them to make Luigi's up special a flutter jump. Maybe he leaps up and flutters a bit, turns onto his head in mid-air and falls down quickly, in a really goofy fashion.

I always found it strange his unique way of jumping and running was never shown in Smash Bros. His flutter jump and that unique arms tucked into his sides run he has. I think they'd help a lot to modernize Luigi's moveset.
