Straw man responses in hot-button topics.
How about people replying: "This, so much this"
That one make my blood boil
I literally am a straw man.
What have I told you, last page? *literally wags finger sternly*I literally am a straw man.
dat.
this. this times a hundred.
I'm just glad that making puns about people dying is frown upon.
Pretty much the only time I got Angry was, when this was a common occurrence on Gaf. Did a woman was killed by a Monkey? You could be the first post was some Monkeying around kind of pun.
But then, some poster posted that his 2-3 puppy ate a frog and died, some guy said "Sad to know he croaked" and people where suddenly outrage, the guy even got banned. I was so angry and disgusted.
Has anyone said this yet? Because I hate it when people use "literally" as a form of exaggeration, when the word is anything but.
I..fucking..love those puns.. and it's so shitty when people get banned for them lol.
I gotta agree that the joking about death is completely unnecessary.I'm just glad that making puns about people dying is frown upon.

I've got another one: when one person posts in a thread way way WAY more than everyone else. I'm following a thread right now that has a guy who's posted three times more than the second most active poster, and about one hundred times the thread average.
Edit : And yes, I'm passive aggressively talking shit here, lol.
foe outrage
Everything's a spoiler. Everything.
I, too, prefer calm foes.
I think they're (not sure of their gender) just really excited about the topic. Some of their posts are helpful, but most are just for fun... Which is cool, but in such high volume it starts to feel spammy. Is he the thread creator, a huge fan of the subject or just answering the debates of multiple people? That's acceptable in that case.
Came here to say this, and one other. When I was one of those, those lurkers, before my account was approved, I noticed this word being thrown around all over the place. This has been cut back though, quite a bit over the past few months. At least in the threads I frequent. I always wanted to quote a true American Hero, Stan Smith, in response, but was unable due to pending membership approval: "(Imitating police siren)Oh, that’s the Hyperbole Police coming to take you away, and lock you up in Exaggeration-traz. I think I made my point. Eloquent.”Hyperbole. I've never seen that word used as much as I have seen it here. Amazing.
People who start feuds in threads and accuse the other of derailing while the feud continues to rage.
"IMO"
Go suck a fuck you stupid prick. I know it's your fucking opinion, you typed your stupid fucking response in the text box assigned to your username. Get bent fuck face.
Everything's a spoiler. Everything.
Yeah i completely agree with this. some people go way overboard here with regards to spoilers.
My least favorite is when someone posts a thread akin to "Post your favorite action movie sequence here!" and the thread is filled with replies consisting of nothing but YouTube links.
I...I really wish people wouldn't do that.
May I disagree on this one? Not completely, of course.
Some really overdo it, and it just makes reading some threads really annoying.
Some post untagged spoilers of Bioshock Infinite the day after it comes out on a completely unrelated thread. D:
I find it annoying when people say "what say you GAF?" and similar comments. It makes you sound like an overly proud 10 year old that just joined an elite club.
Another one. This doesn't annoy the hell out of me but for some reason it bugs me. When the thread is titled along the lines of "Post your favorite album of all time," then someone comes in and proceeds to post a list of 15 albums. Or "Top 5 birds of prey" then someone posts 13. Honestly, I don't know why this irks me but for some reason it does.
"Could of," "should of," and "would of." It's "could've," "should've," and "would've" people.
Could've= Could have
Could of= grammar fail
