This is really the only thing that annoys me. There are situational things that will make me a little ragey, but I hate this shit right here. I can go put it into google, but why would I want to? Don't assume everyone knows everything you know.

On the note of annoying posting habits, I'm also guilty of and will try to stop doing the following:
-"Dat"
-"This", "This x 1000", "So much this" or any of the variations.
-"Bu- bu- bu-"
Two things that annoy me, though:
-People posting the darkest, most morbid depressing news stories they can possibly find in the OT. I don't know where this sick "trend" came from but it needs to stop. It's getting ridiculous. I'm sure I'm not the only one who browses GAF in their spare time, I don't want to sit down for a break and see "WIFE SLITS THROAT OF HUSBAND WITH ROTTING SPINE OF STARVED CHILD" right up top that stays on the front page for days on end. GAF, as with most any other forum, decries mainstream news media for their "if it bleeds, it leads" mantra. Except it's in GAF OT where I find the most disgusting and revolting news stories posted for little reason other than to see the disgusted and revolted reactions of people. I vaguely remember hearing a mod (maybe evilore) saying something along the lines of doing something to curb these kinds of topics but it seems they've been on the rise lately.
-Less serious but still pretty annoying is people quoting a great gif page after page. They don't write anything useful, usually one or two words like "dead" or "I'm dying" or "greatest gif ever", it's done solely to spam the page with the gif. And it's fine if it's a hilarious gif and like half a page is devoted to people loving it, but sometimes it goes for 3 or 4 pages. It's annoying as shit.

Yes it reminded me of threads that go on for pages in which the OP just comes in every dozen posts to give vague info or cover their ass a bit only for the stupid debate to continue because of a lack of information.
Meh, that doesn't really annoy me unless it's used in excess.

What really makes my blood boil is when someone dismisses an opposing perspective (usually on an older game versus its sequel) by playing the nostalgia card.
To me, it's not just telling somebody they're wrong, it's telling them that they don't even legitimately hold the perspective they claim to, and are tacitly calling them an idiot (you don't really even like that game, you just think you do, and I'm better equipped to describe your internal mental states than you are).
Disagree with my opinion all you like, but I'll actually be the one who decides what my opinion is, thanks very much.

And speaking of which, I guess the posting habit that annoys me is when people use a GIF just for the sake of using it. And not just any GIF. The LATEST GIF, because it hasn't been abused to hell and back yet.

The antoniobanderes gif was funny the first 10 times I saw, hell maybe even the first 50.
But now... I just roll my eyes. At least get another scene from Assassins. That movie is a goldmine for unintentionally funny gifs.
