In one of the videos they showed off the mega man stage had a moving platform on rails that would appear and desappear (possibly rearranging itself in different patterns. It actually looked pretty unique. Reminded me of the wood platforms on rails (wire?) from super Mario bros 3. I think it looks cool
Yep, I've seen them too. That's what I think the stage hazard will be, not the yellow guy.

Well, I was figuring that if Mega Man's stage actually DID have stage hazards(which it probably will), it would be Cutman, Bass or one of the other robot masters.

The platforms are much more interesting to me than a gigantic yellow disruptor that would blatantly change the dynamic of a match.

Bass is not a Robot Master, no. That domain is pretty much limited to those with "Man" at the end of their names (with Splash Woman and the Genesis Unit being exceptions).
But the platforms are taken straight from Crash Man's stage. That's already like 25% more Mega Man than your average Mega Man camero.
Technically. He's just not one of the 8 bosses.
I think it would make more sense if the level had hazards like spikes and whatnot. I think robot masters wouldn't work too well, they fit more as Assist Trophy than Stage Hazard.
Yellow Devil on the other hand...

I wonder what the 3DS stage will be like? I have a feeling they're gonna cheapen it out by porting the Wii U version. I can sort of see that since it's a third party level and we have no idea how strict Sakurai is on that. lol

they might copy and paste a stage from UMVC3 but they would adjusted the stage and made it platform without any walls.

Any chance that Nintendo is going to do a direct around Tokyo Game Show that features Smash? I really want to see a newcomer already.

Aren't the 3DS stages supposed to, in some way, be focused around the portable versions of whatever player the stage is based off of? I thought I heard that somewhere...
But at any rate! The Robot museum would be an awesome Mega man addition for either version!
Any Mega man stage, really, has the potential to be frikken sweet.
Personally I would love a tribute stage to Mega man V for the Gameboy. A Wily star, for example, would be fun!

If there was a Virtual Boy stage, which version does it belong on? Virtual Boy wasn't really a console or a handheld. Maybe the Virtual Boy stage should only be playable on the Gamepad using off-TV play.

Every copy of Smash for Wii U will come with a pair of 3D glasses to compensate. It will also come with a head strap that you can attach to the gamepad.
When is TGS? Wasn't it last week? Holy crap, I'm lost.
So I won't have money to get the Zelda WiiU bundle. Oh well, still will try to get an used during the holidays when I get the money. I want to be ready to play this game on both consoles day one.

I still think the direct will be on October anyway. With news or the rest of the year. They have enough games to talk about without mentioning anything from next year (except Mario Kart, which needs a bit more info) so I don't think Smash will be mentioned.
December one will be about e-shop games and games releasing next year. One announcement could be expected there. Smash may have more gameplay footage and one character reveal.

I think the fact that there were no other characters on the stage with Mega Man is a big hint that it's a boss.
Still, it is probably going to be REALLY hard to beat, due to those multi-glob

I feel like the yellow devil was the one nod or hint to the single player game during that trailer. Not really expecting him as a stage hazard at all, rather a stage boss or event boss. It would be really cool if the event matches this time featured unique characters and character models.

Nintendo will be holding a surprise direct in the parking lot of the Tokyo Game Show. They will reveal a new Pikmin 3 trailer and Iwata will show off his Miiverse doodles. Minds will be blown.
They will be near the place just like Ouya! That's some awesome and effective marketing

Eh, the stage would serve as pure fanservice for those who played the early Mega Man games. If one isn't familiar with the series, it might look really boring indeed.

Well, the Robot Museum stage wouldn't be in 8-bit style like this Mario Bros one. I would like to see a recreation of the stage, like that MM2 stage showed in the SSB4 trailer, not just a copy & paste. I think people didn't play this stage because it clashes with the 3D visuals of the character. Well, that would be my reasoning for not playing it, at least.
