Other than that I dunno. Leves? Quests? Dungeon runs for bronze pieces? Pretend to be a girl and flirt with people and get them to buy you things?

you sound like an mmo designer

how much coin do level 50 leves give anyways

or 45 apparantly the max

Holy shet, i didn't notice the description before, ahah.

Haha, I hadn't noticed this either. Fantastic.

Just reading up on the relic quest and to even begin it, you need to craft a level 55 weapon? Yikes.

Is the only real way to level gathering professions to go out in the field and just chop shit down for hours? The amount of exp I'm getting from gathers is pretty tiny now and I'm only at level 24 Botany. I was hoping to save Leves for crafting but it seems like gathering levels come much slower. At least I'm making money. Between 23 and 24 I sold 25k Gil worth of noble grapes so I guess it's not all bad as I assume there'll be worthwhile ingredients to sell at every level bracket.

Whats the point of selfrepair gear when it acually costs more and it's way more annoying(change to the DoH class) than using the npc, am I missing something here?

I think the idea is that you acquire the repair ingredients while playing your main job, so it's "free" in a sense.

But how?, I see those dark matter stuff only come from npc vendors, I just dont get it :/

It's pretty vestigial right now as a result of several buffs to NPC repairs/changes to the class system. They were originally about 4x as expensive and only took you up to 50%, and crafter jobs were available in dungeons for spot repairs too.

Is this a reference to something ? Giant Enemy Crabs, perhaps ?

Its a reference to people getting their asses kicked by those in XI. And basically forming parties to constantly hunt those for hours on end to level up. Consider yourself lucky that you actually didnt have to live through that.

Wouldnt it be easier to have someone craft something for you or does it require you to craft it yourself?

Ugh, I remember going to the Valkrum Dunes from level 10-20 just grinding them all day long. Then getting a sub-job and doing it again! @_@ UGH!

It is cute though.

I remember during those summer days in Valkrum when the beach was so packed you could barely find a spot to camp. Nothing was worse during those days when you were the person pulling in the kill and there was not a damn enemy alive to bring back. When you finally saw a crab you're heart began to race as other players converged on it's location...

Then 40 levels later after you've gone through some incredible trials that took months to plan and were (probably) wearing your magnificent artifact armor you would head next grind spot only to fight these identical looking crabs.... Good times.

{Korroloka Tunnel}{Do you need it?}

Ok folks I'm done. You can kick me from the FC to make room for others, i'm not getting a sub. Name is A'hau Aesir.

I have nothing against the game and I actually wish I got a class to 50, but with 3 level 30s I feel content in not playing. I just don't see myself sticking to it very long so there is no point in playing anymore.

Some of the FATE names are hilarious. Smells like Tree Spirit? My Baby Green? Bad Hare Day? LOL.

Oh and if anyone asks for help with My Baby Green, tell them to take a hike!

getting sick of crafting and 100 different mats. the inventory doesn't look like fun either.

Its not trust me myself and my 2 retainers are basically full up. And this is me holding back on tailoring and alchemy...

Seriously hope I can get or buy a third retainer soon.

The best part was they showed up again later in the game too after you thought you were rid of them. NOPE FUN TIMES ALL OVER AGAIN

Yeah. You can, but I'm enjoying the game more being mostly self-sufficient. I like having a well-rounded character and I went through the trouble of starting a gathering and crafting profession so I might as well make use of them.

Its not a reraise, just normal raise and full heal? Well that doesnt seem too helpful in most situations...unless you can time it just right.

it raises everyone around you and puts them (and already living members) to full health

it's helpful in 8 man situations where you don'tt need the lb3 for dps and the healers don't have the MP or time to cast raise on 3+ people

Let me know if you need your base relic weapon crafted :)

this feeling was replicated 60lvs later when hunting Notorious Monsters.

I watched a video of this fight. That is some sloooooooow combat.

Hit 50 ALC tonight and the final quest requiring a Quicktongue III is a kick in the balls. Don't really feel like dropping 60k again so i guess I'm off to start spirt bonding some gear to see if I can't get on that way.

Trying to create a character on Ultros...my wife plays as our main character (Leolin Heiral) and I want one of my own. Anyways, character creation was closed, does Ultros ever open up for characters?

So... no maintenance this week? The FF14 twitters have both been very quiet in the past two days. No mention of transfers or maintenance and all I really saw was a notice that they were selling the game again along with a link talking about veteran bonuses. :(

Scrubs fought over crabs in Valkurm. It took a higher class of man to party in Buburimu (among many other areas, Carpenter's Landing being one I believe).

I just needed one more Castrum run to buy my first armour piece, it was something like 1,320 tokens, and I was blessed with the worst group imaginable.

Both healers were idiots, this guy literally runs into trash mobs most of the party members already avoided. He must of done it on four different occasions, but he was probably new so I didn't say anything. The other loser goes afk while I was tanking the boss... and then stands in the trash mob's aoe with long cast times, almost gets one shotted, but then turns around and blames me for positioning.

I'm done with this game.
