I just needed one more Castrum run to buy my first armour piece, it was something like 1,320 tokens, and I was blessed with the worst group imaginable.

Both healers were idiots, this guy literally runs into trash mobs most of the party members already avoided. He must of done it on four different occasions, but he was probably new so I didn't say anything. The other loser goes afk while I was tanking the boss... and then stands in the trash mob's aoe with long cast times, almost gets one shotted, but then turns around and blames me for positioning.

I'm done with this game.

Yeah, I never been so frustrated playing a game with so many idiots. It also made me quit. But damn this game has to rival cod with amounts of toxic and idiot players. Waiting hours for queues to then get grouped up with ass holes or people that don't know how to play.. I never had so much stress and frustration in my life. Hours would pass with 0 progression happening. I decided to quit because I was literally wasting my life.

Cutter's Cry is pretty damn boring. Last boss was pretty cool but definitely the worse dungeon so far.

it's interesting when you wipe with low dps people over and over on the first boss. last boss is fun indeed. i'd like to see a super hard mode with that boss.

i don't know when these kinds people started to play mmorpgs. i've been away for too long.

I'm convinced any mage can solo CC Chimera. My party kept wiping to it last night and I would kite it for like 5 minutes before they would tell me to stop being dumb and just wipe it.

Then they all died again at 5% with 3 minutes left and I easily solo'd it by kiting. They all cheered me and called me MVP.

I did it with a bunch of first time randoms. :P

One of the guys was reading off some guide before each fight. I can see how that first fight could get ugly. Adds come from everywhere and they just keep coming. I was the tank and I was pretty much under 200TP for from the half way point on. No idea how I managed to make it last with all those adds.

OK, our group is finally able to farm AK decently without wiping on anything. Now the only problem is it takes half an hour to reserve an instance, even with a full premade. We can actually do Wanderer's Palace in the time it takes us to get through the instance queue. It didn't help that one of our guys had a 90000 right as the queue popped and we all got kicked. ;(

Still haven't done Chimera. I spent 3 hours wiping on it with a bad group a week ago as the tank, and it scarred me pretty bad.

Are these people serious? ridiculous

I personally haven't seen any armor in FF14 that looks good. The best stuff is average-looking to me, and the high end weapons look silly, not cool or powerful.

It's not necessarily a bad thing. Room to grow.

I'd pay good money for DLC that put the old battle songs back in, I think it's my chief complaint right now with all the re-levleing I'm doing lately. Gimmie back those jammin' Uematsu tunes as an option.

Every once in a while I see chocobos with darker feathers and some kind of sigil on their beak. Is this a GC upgrade, a veteran reward, or what?

Are standard chocobos currently the fastest mounts?

He just wants people who can melt all the mobs in there ASAP. Speedruns are after all predicated on speed. A coordinated, dramatically overgeared group can finish CM in 25-30 minutes.

I had a premade go in with 5 DPS, 2 healers, 1 tank and we did it in about 25 minutes lol.

I had some idiot nerdlords ruin the ending of the game for me by skipping the final boss god this is fucking annoying. SE should put a lock that prevents people from initiating a boss fight until everyone's actually ready.

how do you skip the final boss?

can't you just sit in the cutscene?

This ... THIS YES. Had some scrub rushmonger start the elevator fight while i was still in cutscene missed the entire thing.

We wiped on one of the fights in my Praet run when people started the fight early and locked 3 of us out. Then people dropped and we were waiting almost 20 min for more to show.

Also on the final boss they had started pulling when i wasn't even halfway though the CS. I admit I was going kind of slow
since i thought Ultima Weapon's 2nd form was the final boss
, but that is quite possibly my biggest pet peeve with the game right now (except maybe the inability to right click > ignore a name).

Yeah but having an epic boss fight is part of the whole experience. When i go from fighting beating ultima weapon and then watching
Lahabrea
get ready for the final confrontation only to have it immediately jump to the aftermath its pretty anticlimactic. Plus there's text popups and noise from the fight going on while im trying to watch the climax of the game. Completely ruins the experience. SE blew it putting farmable crap in the last two dungeons since it means those of us who actually care about the story (or are polite and not jackasses) have to play with poopsocking idiots.

brayflox armor is pretty popular. warrior AF looks great imo. darklight axe and the one ifrit drops looks good as well. pretty pleased here.

SE trolls you from level 1-30 armor-wise.

Yep, Cavalry and Battlemage sets look awesome! I'm still working on the Infantry set for my DRG, but I'm not sure if I'll finish it since it's considerably weaker than Steel Scale -_-

They're so understated, bordering on boring
The same retextured models used over and over again
interesting ones like afs become obsolete within hours
craft afs I like, esp since they can be dyed

There seems to be way more varieties to weapons

pally is pretty fun when you get scorn and spirits to fit in between your boring halone rotation

shame it takes 50 levels for it
