I've never really had much of a horse in this whole Ridley argument. I think it would be cool to have more Metroid reps, and he's obviously number 2 in the franchise, but I've never been a big enough Metroid fan to bemoan his absence. I've got to say, though, a picture like today's really makes me feel like Sakurai is teasing something.

But maybe he's just being a dick.

Honestly, the more I see Pyrosphere without a Ridley stage hazard, the more I think he'll be playable. Sakurai probably wouldn't be building up all this anticipation... for a stage hazard.

Am I missing a day of historical significance or are you saying that because Oct. 12 is Saturday? Cause I don't think they have any problem with that. The Nintendo community will be very, very active on that day, and it's a good chance for an announcement.
