Sony's showfloor event at TGS today

Gameplay looks great. Not sure about the slow-mo. but the combat looked good. I thought it was pretty cool the way he took out those guys while lying on the floor.

In terms of the graphics, I think the lighting really makes it. Very realistic.

BB's mobility in this game looks so fucking good. Imagine combining that dive-to-belly-slide move from the trailer with the way he shoots while lying down like Max Payne. And now with jumping, sprinting, dynamic CQC (with Peace Walker combos), it looks utterly amazing. The gulf between cutscene Snake and gameplay Snake is almost gone.

I like the blend of stealth and badass fast paced action. BB is a bad ass and it's about time we start playing like it. NOT a fan of the tagging or recharging health. All the "lulz old mgs games had rechargeable health too!!11!" people need to open their eyes. It's not the same at all. Rations is one of the major core mechanics in EVERY MGS game.

It's not a deal breaker for me personally, but i can see why people won't like it. I need this game now. =(

Man! The order! Is every single game from the west getting localized for Japan??? Why don't we get the same treatment? :'(

Because Hatsune Miku has close to zero appeal in the US.

The Order at least has a slight chance of selling.

Last game I'm interested in tonight's stream:

Knack... yawn.

Damn I missed out on this today. Can someone give me a summary of how it all went down (game performance, reception, commentary)?

I was more excited for Kameo...

This game will review very poorly.

I've been watching waiting for some moment to impress but nothing yet. The enviornment looks so bland and static, this is not what you want to see when you are showing off the PS4 for the first time. The gameplay, after playing stuff like Wonderful 101 this thing is like action for babies.

The thing with Knack is it will appeal to the younger demographic, something parents can play with their kids. How it reviews is kind of irrelevant. It's a smart addition to have in the launch lineup, especially near Xmas.

Except that Knack has never been about showing off what the PS4 can do. A lot of people seem to keep forgetting this.

The game may very well be a dud (personally I'm not that interested in it) but it's not a showcase title by any means.
