I wouldn't chalk it up to 3DS fanboys. People love to shit on things. It's this weird thing where people get some sort of satisfaction from partaking in this negative point of view. Its a strange thing, hell even I'm guilty of partaking on some negative threads.

Aw come on. Fanboys of all stripes and sizes abound too. It may sound weird for me to say this in a Vita thread, but Vita fanboys can be real annoying too.
Best ignore both Vita and 3DS fanboys and just have fun: there are plenty fun things to be had on both platforms.

Persona 3 FES on Vita would be godly. I would play it so much more than P4G, that's for sure.
Fine, Persona 3's re-re-re-release will be on 3DS, and run at 20fps.
Pre-180 Xbox One threads were baaaaaad, Post-180 threads are getting better but the console still has that bad stigma around it so people will jump in and bash it.
So back on Vita, is Rayman Origins supposed to come out for free on PS+ (NA) this month? I've been dying to play it but im holding on because Europe PS+ got it a while ago and i have hope for an NA PS+ release. Legends im very iffy about buying because of the missing content, will probably get that on PS3 instead.
To be fair, I don't think anyone was thinking of Frontier when they asked for MH on the Vita.

Started playing the walking dead on vita last night...
Plumbed for touch screen controls and restarted after five minutes and went traditional.
It's a shame you can't combine them... It'd be great to move you character and the field of vision with analogue sticks, mash buttons for the QTEs and use touch screen for the dialogue.

Yea, it was probably the least fun platinum I've gotten so far. While easy, most of it was tedious. Still enjoyed the base game quite a bit, maybe I'll look into playing the pikmin games sometime

I felt like a combination would have been the best too.
Honestly, though, I felt like with the touch-controls you could just focus on the story while the traditional controls made it feel more tedious.

I got a japanese Soul Sacrifice from the premium edition. My main account is a US one. Could I play it on my US account? I know the dlc is region lock and the process to switch accounts sounds like a major pain in the ass.

It seems that many seem to view both of them in disfavor but I personally think them as alright though. I mean, when they're being negative, they usually have a reason to act negative: they're not doing it nilly willy.
Maybe it's just me though, hahaha.
You know what else is weird? Vita monthly threads seem a lot more active than the 3DS'--I mean, Noi always seem ready to post these threads regularly while the 3DS ones.... I think it's being inactive at the moment? It seems it's pretty stagnant compared to this thread. It's weird, considering that there should be more people on the 3DS side.
Maybe we Vita players tend to be much more excitable than our 3DS friends and thus we post much more actively, ahahahaha.
It has a few times but it has never really stayed around. We have had a really tight-knit group of Vita owners since the beginning along with an official thread, so although we have had members come and go, there have always been a few that have stuck around the entire time like myself, Carl, and Takao and kept things alive. Basically, there have always been regulars, even though some regulars go and other regulars come in and take their place.
I liked Takao better when he wasn't so negative all the time, but he's alright in my book. Totobeni....ehhh...still not sure. Interesting person, though, that's for sure.
I vaguely remember GAF being super excited about the NGP (when the Vita was still known as such)

Well, the tone changed when the 3DS changed in price, and, suddenly and inexplicably, the Vita wasn't am amazing price anymore. Then it changed more when the horrible memory card prices and lack of multiple accounts came about.

I always noticed Vita owners ae wayyy more positive and in love with their Vitas.
I never cared for handhekd gaming much, just played SMT games onmy DS. Then when I touched the Vita at a Vita preview event that IGN hosted. (was there for the free pizza) and WOW I instantly fell in love.
Sony did say that Vita owners love their Vitas.
Well, I do love the Vita, but it is for a reason. I typically play games in shorter stretches than I used to, and the Vita just so happens to fit my lifestyle a great deal more.
I like life of pixel a lot actually, but it seems to be kind of a love it or hate it hate of game.
But Tokyo Jungle is a pretty good diversion.
Super Crate Box and Aqua Kitty are pretty fun. SCB has had me pretty frustrated from time to time though but that's probably just because of how awful I am at it.

It's true though! It seems like VitaGAF is a *lot* more excitable than the 3DSGAF. I mean, it seems like we celebrate *every* new game for Vita, be that retail or indie.
No matter how small or, hmm, how should I say this, maybe... un-AAA, hahaha, the games are, we tend to be way more easily excited.

The market didn't support it, and too much of GAF is preoccupied with sales-age, now here we are.
It sometimes seems like you can't even mention the Vita outside this thread without it triggering a cheap shot.
