Stop saying 'Slime' when you mean a specific character ("Rocket"), because you're just making it look like a random species deserves a spot on the Brawl roster when that's just fucking silly.

Fine, I won't argue that this character has 'personality'. But I still believe it has no identity, especially an identity strong enough to be a 3rd party character.

And on a personal note; it's still just an awful design.

My argument is "can be in", your argument is "can't be in".

He fits every criteria for a playable character in Smash, so my opinion that he can be in is much, much stronger than yours.

I think the arguments against Krystal are silly. The more the merrier. I'll never play as her, but whatever . . .

But assuming that each third party is only going to have one (maybe two) slots in Brawl, which I think is a fair assumption, how could anyone want Slime over Geno or Crono?

Square really doesn't have any single character that is "Iconic" worldwide, except possibly Cloud, but we all know the problem with him. It would be such a shameful waste if all Square provides is something generic like a Black Mage, Chocobo, or Slime.

The best case scenario would be Nintendo getting permission from Disney to use Sora, and then cooperating with Square for the actual models, stage, etc.

Nintendo paying to license a character from Disney? It just doesn't seem very likely. We all know Nintendo doesn't like spending their money.

I really don't care who gets in. I have some wants, like Mega Man and Agent J and some I won't mention. But there have always been characters I don't like. So I fight against em, cause it's fun. Then I can rant and yell curses at the TV. It's all good fun.

Hell, I'd even enjoy it if Broccoli on a Stick was a playable character.

We need to bring characters to the roundtable that we have yet to talk about, like Princess Katia from Lost Kingdom II(a sequel to a very, very old rpg GC game).

Her chances are nonexistent becuase of all the other 3rd party characters but it is very interesting that a character from Software was even included in Sakurai's poll. She uses card to summon creatures and would be an interesting character.

I loved those two games. The strategies and decks you could build were awesome and the fact that the game was played out as a card combat action RPG made for some really hectic and challenging boss fights. I loved my cannon fodder golems.

You know who, I'd like to see, even as just an Assist? Mackenzie the Touch Detective. I just picked up 2 a week or so ago. It would be awesome if her Assist Trophy was just her walking around analyzing the fighters.

I imagine we will since Ike plays so differently from Marth. Where as Ike is all strength, Marth will be all about his speed. Plus there's Fire Emblem DS and the fact that Marth is the most well known Lord.

Marth is really the signature of FE - Hell, like someone said, his sword is the series' symbol.

Also, that'd be awesome, but I'd also love a Slimenia level (the world of DQ Heroes), with DQ enemies and tanks in the background.

If, by some miracle, "Roy" made it back to Melee they'd probably do a minor redesign and call him Eliwood. But who are we kidding, Roy's a goner. He wasn't that great in Melee and people hated him in FE6 too.
