Am I missing something? How?

Blockbuster are running this buy 1 get 1 free pre-owned deal:
http://market.blockbuster.co.uk/retaildiscounts/discountdetails.aspx?id=9199&title=buy-one-get-one-free-mixed-games&tab=offers&pageindex=0

I got GTA IV and Episodes from Liberty City. Can either wait on the latter to come back in stock, or you can get GTA IV and Dirt 3 PS3 and sell Dirt 3 to cex, bringing the cost of GTA IV down to £6 then just find another game on the gamestop list for cheap.

I went for the GTA V tradein deal they were running a while back. Got the game on release date and the refund came through, so basically go GTA V for £15, so pretty confident this should go smoothly too.

Oh I see, when I looked on Gamestop I couldn't see the trade in deal.

So for anyone that already has games on the list it's £9.97, I have a couple.

Don't really want to get Black Flag on PS3, but this works out as a cheap way to get it on PS4, it's £10 to upgrade to the PS4 digital isn't it?

Yeah £10, though you'll need the PS3 version in the drive whenever you launch the PS4 version. If you've got some of the games on the list which you don't mind trading in then £20 for the PS4 version is pretty good.

Amazon.de offers again preordering of that KZ PS4 Bundle for 499€
(+5€ shipping for Germany, because it's send with an ID check due to KZ's USK18 rating, which also means you have to receive it in person...)

Included content:
mJprQkzl.jpg

So even if you import KZ from cheaper UK shops, you still save well over 70€. Basically you get the camera for free and the game a bit cheaper. At least for me it's exactly what I was planing to buy.

Sucks that they didn't keep the old price of 470€ or whatever, but that was just a pricing mistake that they honored.

Note that KZ doesn't have local mp... (I mostly want a second controller so that one is always charged anyway ;D )

Most importantly, that bundle will NOT release on 29th November :(
Edit: or maybe it will, see below.
It currently has a standard text saying that it will ship before Christmas, so I hope it's only a 1-2 week delay. I'm keeping my day-one PS4 preorder in case the actual date will be revealed to be much later.

Áctually, they told another GAFfer that it'll probably launch on the 29th and I later got the same statement when I asked them whether I actually ordered the bundle (got a few conflicting statements on my Amazon site).

So te first batch of bundles from when it was available before might indeed be launching alongside the naked PS4 on the 29th AND I'm getting it for 480€ AND they said I'm on the list for the first shipment of the bundle :O

About the release: I asked Sony PR Germany (I work for an European magazine), they told me this was a "Hardbundle", which is planned to be released on the 29th November alongside the regular PS4. Amazon doesn't seem to know this yet. But still, plans can change so pre-ordering is at anyone's own risk I guess. (I got it for 470€ btw, pretty stoked about it.)

Nice info, that would be awesome!
Though I only managed to pre-order today (which is like, the third preorder round or so?), so I will remain cautious. Unlike you guys I will probably still get it later, unless they have enough quantities (should ask them to just pack in KZ etc. with my vanilla PS4 :P ).

(btw that email-alert thingy doesn't seem to work if it's technically still not available, thanks amazon, missed out on the previous pre-order phase :P )

Vouchercloud has a 10% off a £50 spend code
The savings for this code cap at £10. Also terms and conditions say it is not valid for hardware (but still seems to work on it anyway). The code should be lowercase to work too...

Speaking of GAME, I take it pre-orders no longer give double reward points (I just put Bravery Default in my basket and the message only said I would get £0.70 of reward points) plus it appears to have dropped from 2.5% down to 2%.

No Fifa deals? Damn.
£32.99 at Sainsburys when you buy £30 of groceries. Not much of a deal.

A friend of mine is experiencing the same thing with Pokemon (wants the game but does not want to spend more than £25; £30 Grainger games is the best deal).

The Office - 10th Anniversary Edition (DVD) for £4.99 / €6.09 at The Hut.

The Office 10th Anniversary – Special Edition staring Ricky Gervais as the excruciatingly superb David Brent contains every episode from this ground breaking comedy and also includes these incredible extras:

- A Never Seen Before - 20 Minute Pre-Pilot
- Broadcast Wraparounds
- Celebrity Interviews (including Hugh Jackman, Matthew Perry Richard Curtis and Ben Stiller)

While that Killzone Bundle is tempting I think I'll stick with my regular pre-order. I don't want to risk not getting it on the 29th.

Same here.

I don't really need the extra controller mind you, happy with my normal pre order and Killzone for £39.

Now that heavy hitters are, well, hitting, like GTA V and the likes, TLOU still isn't dropping its price like crazy?

I'm being super stubborn about that one, but maybe I should just bite before the price actually starts increasing or they release a crappy Platinum Edition and I can't find the normal cover anymore. Right?

Well, it's only been out a few months. Could see it dropping in the boxing day sales if you're willing to wait that long.

Well, it was technically free last week :p

That's the reason is jumped up the charts from 16 to 3.

Alright, I'll give it another month or so. It feels like an eternity because I love ND's output but IDK why, I got into this weird mentality that if I didn't get it at launch, I should get it when it's an absolute bargain.

Meanwhile I buy other slightly less interesting games at normal-ish prices. Go home brain, you're drunk.

Depends what you mean by an absolute bargain but you can get it from blockbuster for £20 pre-owned using code save5now

Getting a Pokemon game cheap, specially day one - is quite a feat. That said I effectively got Pokemon white 2 for free with my 3DS XL simply because the former Tesco Entertainment used to do insane coupon deals when you ordered in advance. I was honestly surprised though when a month or two later, Zavvi had it in Mega Monday for like one week only for £19

Toys R Us apparently have a coupon that can knock Pokemon down to £27 if you want to chance it there. But to be honest I'ld rather go with GAME or ShopTo for my quick delivery times.

Did the 15% (I think it was?) code for Zelda (CE) and Pokemon at GAME - still costing me an owchy £80 altogether ;A;

Article about the PS4 killzone bundle.

Sony will announce several new PS4 bundles tomorrow, Eurogamer understands. The company has told UK retailers to alert those who have pre-ordered PS4 that they now have the option to upgrade to one of these.

"It [the mega bundle] is in limited volume, and therefore it is probably going to go mainly to current pre-order customers, then follow-up volume may well be post-Christmas," Gara added.

Just an update for anyone who jumped/wasn't sure to jump at the Gamestop GTA V pre-order deal, I just got an email that my £35 refund is on the way. I traded in GTA IV and an Army of Two.

GTA V for a fiver! Bloody pleased it all came through at the end.

Anyone here share Amazon.co.uk prime accounts with people who are not in your house. Does it work the same as how Americans do, just add 'family' members email addresses. I know it says same household, but apparently it works with anyone. Just want to check before I buy.

If so, anyone want in tomorrow?

I'm in Croatia but I only buy games online from UK.
Can i trade in old games via mail? Is it restricted only to UK? Whic online retailers?
Last time I gave games to a friend who was visiting London so he traded them in a store there but now i dont have anyone going there in near future.

Tnx

How exactly does Flubit work? Do you still get your items from Amazon itself, and will they be sealed and whatnot?

Basically you give them an Amazon link. Then they take maybe a day to get you a price. If the prices changes within that time you're buggered unless it went down lol. Then you have a limited amount of time to respond. If you pay and that's that.

Then they'll dispatch it. When you get your item is varied. I received Mario & Luigi 3 days before release date for example, and TW101 and GTA V on release date.

The product will come form anywhere really. They basically shop around looking for a batter price, and that could be anywhere. I got a book from them and on my flubit account they told me I'm getting it from Speedyhen for example. But GTA, Mario & Luigi and TW101 didnt say anything on the site in regards to where.

In the end I received TW101 from Asda I think, Mario and Luigi came from Tesco and GTA came from Simply Games.

It comes brand new, but I think what happens is they send the package to flubit and then redirect it to you? My GTA came with a Simply games receipt with my address on it but it also had a Flubit note with it so I'm unsure. All I know is you save money, generally get it quick even with a massive release like GTA and its all new.

Don't Flubit only grab Amazon stuff now? I'm still not 100% how their system works post-change.

It's pretty much as described above as far as I'm aware. The only difference is they only beat Amazons price now. So if you find a game at GAME for £25 you could have asked flubit to try beat the price in the past. But now you can't do that. You can only try and beat Amazon. So if Amazon are selling the same game for £30 the chances of getting a price better than GAMES £25 is low.

Not sure if it qualifies as a deal but I just bought Max Payne 3 for £5 in Tesco. Both the PS3 and Xbox versions are the same price.

They also show it online but it's sold out.

Flubit will beat an amazon price now and you may get your game a week or two after release.
I got Wonderful 101 on release but I put the offer thignin before they went amazon only. I used an amazon link for pupetter and got one copy two weeks after release and another one today (don't know why they sent me two. I did complain earlier this week that it still wasn't here and they said it was an issue with me not providing correct delivery info which was a lie).
They were much much better before.

It's been £5 for a while now, unless it went off sale for a bit. I picked up my copy for that price at the start of July.

Hmm... I guess I'll judge it on a case by case basis of how soon I want a game, and how much I'm saving.

So many TGC links on here recently. But it seems they have lowered their shipping costs, which explains a lot. Used to be £4.00 per item to Europe making them not that interesting, and it's "only" £2.00 now.

Flubit have been all over the place for me. Wonderful 101 got lost, however as soon as I contacted Flubit directly they were fast at getting out a replacement to me. FFXIV came the day after release.

Got Beyond Two Souls on pre-order with them, will see what happens with that. Not in too much of a rush to get it on release though.

Anyone aware of any Game discount vouchers doing the rounds just now?
Apparently http://www.vouchercloud.com/ for 10% off £50 (unique code, needs to be netered lowercase to work). But within the last 24 hours some Hotukdeals members have not gotten codes and personally I can not sign up (says my password is too weak, no matter what I enter into the field).

I'm trying again right now...

Edit: Could not sign up iusing Opera or Firefox. Chrome worked. Site does not list it. Looks like I'll have to wait again to do my pre-orders...

That's really the best way to go about using Flubit. It's just a case of whether the saving outweighs the possible delay in delivery.

Shopto's postage prices are absolutely terrible.

Went to buy a 3ds XL for £169 and they're charging me £21 postage since I don't have the privilege of living in the uk mainland.

There the only ones who seem to have the white xl with super mario 3d land for a decent price

The announcement of the WW bundle seemed to kill off the deals on the other packs. I rather suspect it'll come down in price again once the new consoles hit though. Might be worth waiting.
